Every so often you may be in danger or or something irritating is about to happen, when all of a sudden, you do just the perfect thing to save yourself or stop something bad happening. Or, you just pull off something damn cool you can't do again.

My favourite one would be when I was holding a handstand for 10 seconds (about my longest one at the time). When my cousin gave me a foreful shove, I just managed to stumble around and not fall. Not very helpful, but it just felt awesome.

So, what ninja-like moments have you had? Anything great or small, as long as it gave you that sense of awesomeness.

"WHOA where did you come from?"

"Make some noise next time!"

"Are you like, teleporting around?"

These are a few lines from my everyday life. I have mastered the art of NINJA STEALTH!

i once lived with a clan of farmers on the countryside, but secretly we where spying for money and hunted as murderers. jk.

I once raced down a looong ramp on the backside of a festival stage down, sitting in a wheelchair. Problem was the ground was coublestone pavement, the speeding wheelchair came to an instant halt i flew about 3 metres and landed on my feet standing.
Note that it was darkest night and i was drunk as 100 naked irishmen.

and for a guy tall like me, with the right shoes i move damn silent, if i want to .

Oh another one comes to mind. I was in the kitchen, my brother outside on the terrace, he asked for paper tissues, so i grabbed a pack , jumped out the door while throwing the pack accross the terrace, hitting him in the face.
That was a damn ninja moment.#
On the oppposite if people throw things at me and i spot it in the very last moment, i usually catch the things out of the air. But thats no mysterious ninjaing, thats goalkeeper training.

Don't have any tricks of my own, but once I was watching my friend play ping-pong when something sexy happened.
My friend was wearing a long chain with his keys on the end attacthed to his throusers at the time. When the ball came to him at one point, he randomly jumped into the air, spinning at utterly breakneck pace. The chain on his throusers flinging around with him connected with the ball and sent it flying back, earning him a point (or however the scoring system is labelled in PP).

I, for one, was gobblesmacked.

At our school we have to wear silly straw hats because it's tradition, and also the school is built with a road running through the middle of it. A car came zooming down the highstreet honking at us, trying to make us look like idiots, and as it drove past me I reached into the car (its top was down) and grabbed the guys McDonalds right off the passangers seat :) I don't think he noticed either because he just kept going and honking.

A free quater pounder with cheese and fries for me :D

Well, many ages past in an ancient gaming realm know as "Call of Duty 4" I was on the showdown map. All I remember is, there's this part where there's a gate. On one side in a passage with wooden beams above it, the other a staircase. I shot two guys from the staircase side, ran up the stairs, jumped along to wooden beams, dismounted BEHIND a third guy, and knifed him ni the back.
Pure ninja.

I accidentally spawned with a red dot sight equipped on my M95 sniper in BC2 and in my frustration I fired in the direction of a Black Hawk and killed the pilot. And when one of the passengers crawled away from the downed heli I randomly fired and killed him too!

I'd say that's pretty ninja.

a couple of times i've just been talking to some one, and like using hand gestures when a ball of sorts has been thrown at me and just landed in my hand..
another time the wind took off one of my freinds hats as i was hugging her, and i some how managed to move my arm so that it rolled down it, and just landed in my hand. i was well impressed.

Occasionally I will block or dodge reflexively (and really quickly) when someone tries to hit me (for fun) or throw a (snow) ball at me or something. But I guess my most ninja like moment was when my Taekwon-Do students (5 or so 40+ year old men) decided it would be fun if they would unexpectedly attack me all at once, starting with one guy who came from the back to take me in a sleeper hold (I think it's called). It turned out mostly fun for me. :)

I was standing in place completely unaware of a small soccer game going on nearby. One of the guys kicked the ball really hard and it headed directly to my face.

I saw the ball coming for me and in an act of awesome ninja like skills I bent backwards matrix style and dodged the ball.

One time in elementary school me and my friends saw a bee buzzing around us, I picked up a stick roughly the same diameter as a pencil and took a swing at it, hit it on the first strike, in mid-flight :D thats probably my most ninja moment.

A while ago while I was driving home around midnight I had a drunk driver speed past me, swerving off and on the wrong side of the road. We both came to a set of lights but with the way she was swerving I decided I would NOT drive in front of her in case she swerves into my lane at the next set of lights. After the lights went green I played cool and waited about 10 seconds before she realised the lights were green and sped off.
I continued to drive on the speed limit and over the hill when lo and behold. There she was up the ass of a car that had been in my lane stopped at the next set of lights. Best moment of foresight I ever had in my life. I proceeded to wait for police to arrive and very happily gave my details as a witness to make sure the poor fellow who had just been rear ended didn't cop any of the blame.

I managed to steal a friends soda right out from under him. We were both in the break room, with me sitting across from him, and while I was talking to him I picked up his Pepsi and stuck it under my chair. He didn't realize that hi soda was gone for nearly two minutes.
I've also managed to sneak up on people completely undetected.

I apparently make no noise when moving around, even though I think I'm quite noisy, since I've startled all my housemates quite a few times, and nearly gave a couple of them heart attacks. They discussed putting a bell around my neck for their own safety.

One time I was "stealing" a guys phone (I am cool with the guy and he knows it was a joke) but I did it so stealthily when I did it naturally that I had to actively try to get caught.

A couple of years ago, my friends and I were playing hide and seek (during the dark). I habitually wear faded, dark colors and shoes, so just for fun I went into the middle of the back lawn and just laid down right there face down. I was the last guy found, but only because I gave up after almost getting stepped on a few times.
