I broke my toe yesterday and decided it would be a good idea to put all my weight on it... Probably wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done.

Sitting in A&E, listening in to other people checking in, being the slight sadist that I am, this got me thinking about other people's pain.

Care to share some stories?

Well there was the time I was running really fast (was in a hurry) ran straight into a pillar and swallowed one of my teeth...

...Or the time I fell of a rock I was climbing on the beach when I was 6-8 and ended up with a massive scar that went all the way from my shoulder to my waist? (left a pretty badass scar though!)

Being kicked in the "Manly regions" With pointed high heels...Words cannot describe how painful that was, my scream of agony went into the realms of ultra-sonic.

Quick question, what's an A&E?

Anyhow, OT: I don't get in a lot of pain.
Seeing as pain is bad, I tend to keep away from things that might hurt me.

I broke my arm when I was 3, that's about it.
This, except I was 4 when I broke my arm.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
wisdom teeth and running out of painkillers right as I was really waking up from the surgery anesthetic, not during surgery, mind you, after I was back home and sleeping off the rest of it.

Oh this is easy. Despite having broken most the bones I possess...This one wins by a landslide. I was 8, riding on my friends bike, and he forgot to tell me the brakes didnt work. Eventually I ended up riding right into a ''in cross-section, Triangular'' pole in the ground. I flipped off the bike, did a complete somersault and went 'manhood' first into the pole and then slid 5 feet down it...basically cutting me open in that area. I lost a fair bit of blood and passed out. I got carried home by my friend and his cousin, got sent to hospital...And their first action towards my genitals, WAS TO COVER THEM IN IODINE!...gah! Bad memories.

Probably the most pain I was when I had a cardiac arrest (not a heart attack) when I didn't have my heart medication for 3 days.

On day 2, my chest started to hurt a bit. On day 3, I was in constant pain and I felt very weak. That night my heart just outright quit and I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance, where I died once for a stretch of 11 seconds before being resuscitated. Thankfully by the time I woke up later the next day I has flying so high on drugs I couldn't feel a damn thing.

And for the record, I'm only 18.

I once tried to make jelly and I held up a glass bowl with water straight from the kettle (checking I had the right amount) the glass exploded and covered my chest in scalding water, I'm still scarred to this day.

Two words: Renal Colic. I think it's officially the most painful thing bar childbirth.

Some chick once kicked me square in the balls because it was "funny". While I was on the floor, almost throwing up with tears in my eyes, she just said, "Oops. Never meant to do it that hard. Still funny though."

Do I know you? I'm sorry if I do. I really didn't mean to hurt that guy. He actually threw up. I felt so bad afterwards. I don't think he ever forgave me. It's the kind of joke that's just out of line. I just didn't realise it'd hurt that much, since I don't actually have testicles myself.

Anyway, most painful experience was probably when I crashed into a rubbish bin (or two? I forget, and it was kind of dark at the time) at a relatively fast speed, while on a skateboard. It hurt. All over. I also had to drag myself back home, since I didn't want my parents to know that I was out during the early hours of the morning. Most of my other painful experiences involve intense pain during menstruation, but that's more of a constant ache.

Nah, I'm pretty sure that's not me.

this is relatively tame but either when i got tiger balm in my eye or when i dropped a weight on my ingrown infected toenail (by this point the skin around my toe was going green).

i have also dislocated my knee on several occasions but that didnt hurt as much as the two above because i could just slap it back in place and be on my way

I just posted this in another thread but I feel it is appropret for this as well. My brother threw a chair at my head. That fucking hurts I wouldn't advise having it done to you.
