Not garden variety fail-
EPIC FAIL.

I'm very attached to my Machine Head fingerless gloves-I barely ever take them off, so naturally they get smelly. So recently my mum was soaking them in the sink, because if you put them in the washing machine, they shrink. So there I was making my usual noodle concoction with various spices and some gravy, I go over to strain them-WHOOSH. Straight on to the gloves. :/ Smelled like gravy for DAYS.

So, Escapist, how have you failed recently?

I can't remember my most recent epic fail, but a few years ago, after soccer practise, I was walking to the exit of the gym, and BAM! I walk into a wall.
How, you ask? I have no idea. I was nowhere near the door, and yet for some reason, I didn't notice the wall coming at me at a WALKING PACE! There were absolutly no obstructions and no distractions.
It doesn't get much more epic, or more fail, than that. In my mind, anyways.
I had a bruise on my nose for a good long time.

OT: I haven't had a fail I could really call "epic" for a while. Last Epic fail I had was in 8th grade when I climbed an icy fence to get to an icy garage roof to play mountain climber. I'll let you deduce what happened.

While not specifically a fail it's close to it: Yesterday I grinded in World of Warcraft for a pet with 0.1% drop rate, I eventually got it, then realised I'd been going at it for 7-8 hours in a single day.

Eight grade, I was dressed as... I don't even remember... Anyways, it included having pointed nails. Instead of getting the costume stuff, I had my mom cut actual cosmetic nails to points and glued them onto my hands. Made things hard to handle all day, but the biggest horror was when I played dodgeball and they all ripped off. Dear merciful god in heaven, I have rarely felt something so painful.

I'm trying to think of something more recent now, but all I can think of is an offhand Alzheimers joke I made in writing class that someone got angry at, because her grandfather died of it.

Casually hit someone with the door in school, the guy walked 20 feet, feinted, fell over and had a seizure. Also he chipped a tooth.

Holy shit, dude. You casually beat the shit out of people.

OT: Biggest fail? Yesterday I laughed so hard at a joke, I fell to the floor with laughter. Into holly and stinging nettles.
