Fair enough. Still, most people can deal with a lot of pain if they try. Most people don't bother trying though; discomfort is seen as unnecessary. Shock is a likely thing; one of my least painful injuries was one of the times I broke my arm. Likely, it was because the full pain wasn't processing properly; it hurt but I didn't realize the extent of it and almost kept going. The second most significant and least painful injury was when I accidentally shot myself in the leg; the bullet probably burned away most of the skin nerves so little pain was transmitted.Insert Comedy Here said:Never limited to head injuries, that's the only one I can remember correctly.

Then again, it was probably shock.
Adrenalin also helps a lot, even if it is from fear. From personal experience...
