Fallout: New Vegas

Even with all the patches, it would still go haywire on me.

When it froze during the final mission, I just gave up.

Metal Gear 4. The cutscenes...my God, the cutscenes. I played (actually played) for maybe 10 minutes and then washed my hands of it and never looked back.

Empire: Total War. The sad part about this story is that I had heard that it didn't live up to the fantastic gameplay of Rome: Total War. However, once I figured they had cleared up most of the bugs, I went ahead and picked it up. Say goodbye to $40.

I also regret buying the keyboard for Rock Band 3. It looked cool, and most reviews had called it a great addition to the instrument set. I'm pretty sure I've used it MAYBE four times. That's terrible when you consider how much my friends and I play Rock Band. Instead of just paying $60 for the game, I ended up paying that AND an extra $70 for the keyboard. Such a waste. Now that I think about it, at least Empire provided me with some giggles when I wiped out the Thirteen Colonies.

the latest AVP game by rebellion...

God what a bad way to destroy my own nostalgia.
While I have yet to play the original AVP, I played and loved AVP2 to death, and I have to say that the new one is really good. I don't get why people are always bashing it... its really fun.

Dragon Warrior Monsters: Joker

I loved the GBC version and was hoping it was along the same lines. Aside from looking really good for a DS games it's incredibly small and is quite possibly the most grindtastic game I have ever played. Granted I only spent about 15$ on it I could've bought a comic.

Saints Row 2 on PC. It was a terrible port and driving in it was like playing Snake on an old Nokia phone, especially when the frame rate just messed up.

I really did want to like it because it is only been seen as the pinnacle of sandbox mayhem by everyone but there was just not any effort put into the PC port.

Gothic 4, Arcania. God, how I was anticipating this game. I've played all gothic games and loved them all, especially Gothic 3. While Gothic 3 was a brilliant open world RPG which really gave you a challenge, Gothic 4 was a linear, walk in the park, piece of cr***

Some people may disagree but I gotta say that the purchase I regret the most has got to be Borderlands for the PS3. At first it had me but after a couple of hours game play I was getting bored of the same enemies and extensive repetertive environments. In the end I just said enough and traded it in (didn't even finish my first play through). =/

Black Ops - went back to BFBC2
Disgaea 3 - not my thing
Katamari Forever - what the hell, it gave me migraines.

Knights of the Old Republic. I tried three times to get into it and it failed every time. I just lost interest in what was going on. I'm sorta surprised at myself because I'm a massive Star Wars fan (Been watching it since I got out of the cot).

My two "Rome: Total War" expansions.
A total waste of money for a F**king map I could have downloaded and played as a mod on my original game. But at the time I was naive and believed the game developers that if they'd release a product on the market it'll be worth buying and enjoying.
I was so naive at the time.

Here we go again...

Drakenguard of course.

Look at the box: It's got a controllable dragon, and huge battles with tons of dudes for you to kill. And it's only 7$ used. How bad could this be?

The pain... the horror...
Drakengards an acquired Taste: Granted Gameplay is rather clunky, and the soundtrack could be better but..i loved it simply for it's story and characters, and for how fucking dark they were. Considering the time this was made (When characters like Tidus and Vaan were beginning to be the norm for main J-RPG characters..urgh) this game really tried out something different and for that i both love and respect it for.

Not saying it's wrong you don't like it, cause i know this game isn't for everyone, but that still doesn't mean i don't love it to bits. The second game, on the other hand though..
