I can imagine some people not liking this choice to be here but I'm gonna have to say Earth Defence Force. Arcadey bug hunting I can do but this game fell short of my expectations and then a little more

Homefront....i really loved the story, the characters and i thought it was gonna be a great campaign.
until the fucking thing runs out after 4 hours of gameplay, seriously? what the hell was the point putting so much emphasis on hollywood writers and backstory development if you're gonna spend so little time crafting an story.
If it was as long as half-life it quite easily would have been my fave game this year so far.
unfortunatly the thing just ends....its not even like a finale. its like they just ran out of money or something.

Summoner for the PS2. So I returned it.

Second-up would probably be Soul Calibur 3, but at least that ran properly and had an okay versus and character creation mode.

A bunch of friends roped me into buying Dawn of War 2 so that we could all play online. Played it once and hated it.

Assassins Creed.

Found it to be too repetative, and therefore I just couldn't get into it.

Mass Effect.

Three times.

I just kept telling myself, "If I give it another shot, I'll like it."

Nope. Never happened. Luckily, I never bought it for more than $15, so even after three attempts, it still didn't add up to a new purchase. That's nice, I guess.

Hmmm...probably the second hand 15 Dollar Transformers game I got for the PSP. Even at that price it was a mistake. To be honest thats it cuz I do get fun out of all of the other games I play.

Ys Strategy for the DS.

Taught me never to buy games again without looking into them first. I'm not even sure where my copy of that thing is anymore...

legendary, just saw and thought it looked like an interesting game but ones you get the rocket launcher all the challenge was gone and nothing really was left.

Final Fantasy X-2. I loved the first one, and I thought to myself, something so good couldn't have a bad sequel.

Oh the naïvety of youth. I've never played a game more annoying. It had one plus and one plus only over the original and that was skippable cutscenes.

Definitely Spore and Unreal Tournament 3. I was hoping UT3 was a finally a good successor to UT99. I was wrong.

Spore...well that speaks for itself. I bought the hype big time. Ended up with a turd.

Street fighter IV.
Really not my kind of game, but I had heard so many good things and I figured I'd give it a chance. Mistake.
I'm glad I only spend 15 euros on that. Somehow still glad I bought it. I'm still looking for that one fighting game I can pick up and play decently. Maybe the recent Mortal Kombat...
yup, definatly spore

so much hype... so little game, I even spent a few weeks trying too convince myself it was good and that I just had to get into it ^^

GTA4. I knew it was shit,I had written the game off knowing there was no way it would be good.
Then my friends defended it saying that all the dross could be avoided easily enough (they lied) and I found it selling for five dollars (still not worth it.)
I'm sure that game would give arthritis if played start to finish since it takes mashing the A to walk at a decent speed, the cars are impossible to maneuver even in a straight line, and the more I played, the less I had both in game and in life. It made me want to kill it in a real GTA game.

Naughty Bear.

What a pile of way overpriced sub XBLA crap that was.

Not bought but given as a present yet stll regretted was fallout new vegas.

I loved fallout 3 but got burnt out on it so I just couldn't make myself play new vegas, maybe one day.

Oh yeah and Spore.
