Supreme commander 2. I still shudder to think I paid full price for that.
i got that game on steam for less than $10 and saw in EB games that it was around $70 :p
I guess it wouldn't be bad if you paid that. However, you couldn't pay me to play its campaign mode. Which is a shame considering the first one was fairly good.

SMT: Digital Devil Saga. Its not terrible, just mediocre, cookie cutter. Its so bland, I put it down after a few hours.

Summoner for the PS2. So I returned it.

Second-up would probably be Soul Calibur 3, but at least that ran properly and had an okay versus and character creation mode.
You shoulda kept Summoner just for the shorts after the credits.
Eh. Even if I could put together how to play the game, the point was moot, since it kept crashing before the first level was over.

I don't think it's fair to put World of Warcraft in this thread.

It's not a game you buy, it's a game that you sell your soul for.

Therefore. Off topic.

Naughty Bear, It had so much potential and could of been fantastic. So I didnt regret buying it just because it was bad but also because it missed out on being a wonderful and fun game. Even if it had been a PSN or Xbox live game i would of still felt ripped off

I bought a game called Iron Aces 2 for the PS2.

The box had a label that indicated that the original buyer had paid 300 kr. for it. (about $55)

I paid 50 kr. (about $9.50)

I felt profoundly ripped off having bought that piece of shit, and I still want my money back. >:l

Most regretted?
It would have to be, without a shadow of a doubt, Halo Wars for me.
I was expecting something brilliant and interesting.
I got a mediocre RTS of the 360.
Such disappointment. I took it back to the store for a refund at the first sign of an error with the game.
So, at least I got my money back.

Mirror's Edge. "How bad could it be? It's a clever concept and a unique aesthetic, and I'm always one to support innovation..."

It's one of the very few games that I haven't stuck out until the end. It's just that joyless an experience. I bought it used for around fifteen dollars, and I still regretted the purchase even more than the copy of Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions that I also bought used for twice as much, and that turned out to be an unplayable NTSC-J disc. That is how let down I was by Mirror's Edge.

As a huge fan of everything Final Fantasy, it really pains me to say it, but... FFXIV.

Actually, if we're talking all time, when I was but a child and money was extremely hard to come by, buying a bad game was a catastrophe of epic proportions. This was at a time when the Internet did not exist and researching the quality of games was much more difficult, with only dubious imported gaming magazines serving as any sort of guideline.

So, with that in mind, I'd have to say... maybe Road Rash 3 on the Mega Drive. It's actually a really good game, but I already had Road Rash 2, and it just didn't seem to offer enough that was different to justify the relatively vast sum I had paid for it.

Final Fantasy 13 Limited Collectors Edition.

Bought that peice of shit for £60, sold my fucking iPod for it.

Played it for a couple hours, maybe less.

Came with a CD, some postcards and some stickers. Oh and a little book! :D.... ;(

Biggest regret ever, ever. EVER.
