Aliens vs Predator - After AVP2 I was expecting great things (or more of the same with better graphics), and not only did it disappoint but I couldn't see any alien life-cycle any more :(

fortunately with Black Ops I watched my brother play through it before deciding it was a good idea to wait... and... eventually not buy it :)

Armored Core 4, 30 second-5 minute missions killed anything it had going for it.

Call of Juarez.

It's the only game I've ever returned. Thankfully I bought it used, so I could.

CoD:BO or FFXII. I love how many people are saying Black Ops, too. It's hilarious, given how many all rushed out to get it asap.

Men in Black for playstation back in the day. I had saved up all my lunch money but was just a few dollars short of riven which kicked arse. I saw MiB advertised & it looked ok so I got that instead. Piece of shit it turned out to be.

F.E.A.R 1+2. I thought it would be worth the heavily reduced price tag during the xmas discounts on steam last year.

I was wrong.

Empire Earth 3. I have played it quite a bit, I must say, but always in a mood of disappointment. Some ideas for a game I'd love are there, but it's so riddled with sloppy design, glitches, crappy AI, and bugs that it quickly becomes highly frustrating.

Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (followed shortly by Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring for the GBA).

Both for almost the exact same reasons, despite being on different systems. Both boring and annoying to play.

Hmmm that would probably be Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Also Worms Reloaded because I almost never play it.

Grand Theft Auto 4.
After adoring GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas and watching every trailer I could I figured it was going to be another amazing entry in the GTA series. I was dead wrong.
Controls were unresponsive.
It was too "realistic" and gritty (I use realistic semi-loosely).
Etc.

Devil May Cry 4 - Hated the character, Nero. Whiny *****-boy wants to listen to his headphones and ignore his girlfriend in church...
Dragon Age : Origins - Played 20 hrs. Combat for about an hour. Story of NOTHING for 19...
Anything by Blizzard - StarCraft was ok for 1 playthru, same with Warcraft (all) and both Diablo games. None of them were solid enjoyable games. And WoW bored me to no end...

Call of duty: modern warfare and call of duty: modern warfare 2.
Both times I was talked into it by friends, both times the games were utter *censor*
