Modification of the old phrase, "I'll tell you that for nothing."

I've recently takien to saying "I'll tell you that for fuck-all and a biscuit." Not sure how it started.

"I can't do that, I've got a guitar!"
Something random a friend came out with when someone asked her to do something.
She sort of shouted it at them and waved her bass at them, now it's my excuse for everything.

but that's because dawn of war is awesome...
Let's fix that:

"...because WH40k universe is awesome..."

Dawn of War series (no, does not include Soulstorm or DoW II Multiplayer. You did not see them. They did not happen. They were only a bad dream) is a decent slice of the universe, but there is oh so much more....

You can't really appreciate Awesomeness of the Terminator Armour until you read about someone wearing one getting stomped on by a titan (think mecha) and simply rising up from the foot-shaped indentation on the ground to keep on fighting, perfectly unharmed...

Ugh, you could just look in a person's profile. There's a motto section for everyone.

On topic, "Never pet a burning dog"

I vaguely remember this line being repeated numerous times in a movie/tv show.........can't for the life of me remember which though......it's bothering me now..........help? :)
might be the butterfly effect. i'm not sure, though.
It is used in many movies, books and fiction. However, it is most spectacularly used in the movie "The Sixth Day" towards the end, when the character 'Michael Drucker' wakes up prematurely from a cloning process stopped halfway through. He steps out of the tank, cocky and confident (Ha, I've cheated death again, he thinks)looks in the mirror, and you can basicly see blood draining from his face when chock and horror hits him that his is not fully "done" and his current body is a sad spectacle of the real person he s supposed to be. He then says, quite maniacally: "I can fix this!"
This is the highlight from that movie I think, which all in all, was pretty average. Good action flick though, especially for anyone who appreciates the Governator's old movies.

I don't hate you because of your race or religion. I don't hate you because of your sex or sexuality. I don't hate you because you are foreign or because you are different in any way. I hate you because you are human.

Try to push me and I shall become as a mountain, immovable. Try to crush me and I shall become sharp as a tack.

If you're certain of something, it means you're over confident. You should never be totally sure of anything.

Thank you so much! I forgot what that saying was, it was said at my grandads funeral a while ago and I have been trying to remember what it was for ages! Thanks a lot!

Mine would either be that, or "No Regrets".
