Out of place music. everyone has it. whether it a guilty pleasure or just generally something you liked that not your usual.
so what music in your library doesnt fit in with the rest of the music? do you have a hard drive full of rock and then one rap album? or maybe lots of pop and then some random SOAD tracks?

personally i have lots of different genres, drum and bass, indie rock, electro, heavy metal. but somewhere inbetween is an Eminem album that is somewhat out of place, and also the Cowboy Bebop OST. they dont really mix with the rest of my music, but i like them none-the-less. your turn escapists!
edit - also 10 not so random classical tracks, for relaxation purposes.

I listen to all sorts so I don't know if this applys for me. Though the majority of my collection is rock in some form or other so I get weird looks from people who don't know me if I have my iPod on shuffle and a Ray Charles song comes on or something.

I have a varied enough library that nothing out of place really comes to mind.
Hang on let me look...

Clint Mansell's Requiem for a Dream might fit the bill. Let me look some more...
...

...
Shiro Sagisu's Invasion is another.
Seriously those two are the only ones

I use Project Playlist, and all the music I have on it are songs are either 80's, from Rock Band/Guitar Hero, and from various videos on youtube.

That is all.

The vast majority of music I listen to regularly is on the heavier side, mostly metal, and some old rock... Some oldschool blues too, but you won't really find a song on my iPod without guitars in it somewhere...

Oh, what's that? House of Pain? Guess I've found the odd one out...

Not that I don't listen to non-rock stuff, it's just that I don't listen to it enough for it to get onto my iPod.

I think my music collection is too eclectic to have anything "out of place." People who know my predilection for power and symphonic metal might find my J-pop collection surprising, but I have enough Megumi Hayashibara, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Hikaru Utada songs alone to make J-pop/rock a significant part.

Let's see, something that's not a movie or video game soundtrack, power or symphonic metal, J-pop/J-rock...

I guess "Treacherous Gods" and "Battle Song" by Ensiferum and "Trollhammeren" by Finntroll (Viking Metal) are odd ones out. And I swear, I have no idea how I ended up with "Help Me, Dr. Dick" by E-Rotic...

80's power ballads on a mostly classical library.

(It's great when your listening to Bach and suddenly Poison comes on)

I have pretty much anything 'rock,' from Disturbed to Linkin Park, from Green Day to Metallica. I also have 'Disturbia,' by Rihanna, and 'Pocket Full of Sunshine' by Natasha Beddingfield. Both are songs from my exes that have somehow stuck with me...

Note that I can't stand Theory of a Nickelfault or any band that imitates them.

I have an incredibly variety of stuff, but I'm known among my friends as being mostly a rock fan... which is why they're a bit surprised to see stuff like Girls Aloud and Atomic Kitten on my iPod. But, yeah, I don't consider it to be out of place at all, it's there because I want it to be, just like everything else on there.

That she did, along with a ton of other anime themes ("What's Up, Guys?" from Sorceror Hunters, "Alchemy of Love" from Tenchi Muyo, almost everything in Slayers...). She also voiced Haruka in that show.

I think that might be close. I remember getting a lot of music from two different friends at some points. I do know I ended up with a song from one of my friends that he didn't even recognize (a Blind Guardian/Skyclad cover of "<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmLJnXUT7Ug>Besando La Tierra"), so it's possibly entirely innocent.

My music collection's so messed up anyway it's hard to decide, but I'll have to go with the fact that there's quite a few very obscure groups and then Mika... basically I just put any CDs I can find on my iTunes.

My music is rather eclectic. I have things like Bright Eyes, Fall Out Boy (feel free to laugh), Morrissey, Dropkick Murphys, Shai Hulud (if you don't know, look it up), Earth Crisis, Rise Against, Blink-182, Against Me! and The Ink Spots.

So they're all pretty out of place.

Spongebob Squarepants soundtrack.
In between my Ls theres loads of ska stuff then BAM! An epic 3 hours worth of Lord of the Rings music.
The Handsome Familys abit out of place, but thats because its not mine.

Its really quite varied though, so nothings totally out of place. I can "shuffle all" happily without skipping too much
