I don't really have a name that lends itself to nicknames. First name is short, one syllable. I'm about as likely to respond to it as I am to 'Tom'.
My last name however is Kinnunen. Which would be perfectly fine. If I lived in oh, say Finland. Sadly I do not, so I've had to come to terms with it never being pronounced correctly.
I personally like the name, but it does get annoying to have to spell it out for people every goddam time.
A friend of mine once composed a ditty based on a mispronunciation of 'Kinnunen'. It annoys the piss out of me to this day.

My username is actually my name. Augustine is my confirmation name. Stash is short for Stanislaus.
William Noble is my name. I have been called Will since Freshman year, which I've grown used to in the two years since then, but some people in middle school called me wet willy just 'cause... My last name has had the inevitable response "You don't seem very noble."
My full name is Michael Lawrence Howard (All first names, WOO!!!...). I'm fine with Michael and all, but if I got to pick, I'd probably name myself something like Tom or Paul. Yes, that would be nice. Also notable, I did not even know my middle name until I was around 7-8 years old.
Edit: I always went by Michael and only really allowed my parents, and this one kid (don't ask me why), to call me Mike or Mikey. Also, my dad often called me Babalou (Ba like the sound sheep make, and Lou as in the name)or something like that (dunno how it was spelled or where it's from, I just know that he called me that a lot). And also, my two best friends just so happen to be named Michael as well, and so together, we are the three Michael-teers.

Cory. Not a bad name, though my main problem with it is that it's mainly a girl's name, so not only are people always spelling it wrong (Corey, Kori), but I constantly think I'm hearing my name called only to find out that they're calling to the girl next to me. My last name's nice though. Dunn. It's got a good impact to it. Plus my first, middle, and last names all have the same number of letters, so that's cool too I guess.
Matthew is a good name. It doesn't really go into or out of style, so its pretty basic and solid. So I guess:

Mark. My middle initial is C, and I'm a rapper and do presentations, thus I adopted the nickname Emcee (M.C.) after some kids and faculty in highschool started calling me that after I hosted some events. And an inside joke with friends led to M.C. also standing for Main Character, when some friends and I noticed that the Main Character in Persona 4 kind of looked like a younger me. So it's like a triple-meaning.
Some of my friends call me Emcee sometimes, but usually in a mocking way. But I'm at the point where much more people call me Emcee since I started my silly little web series under that name. Now most people I interact with call me by the nickname, or my username on this site, which is kind of surreal, since none of them even know where the nickname came from. Jordan. Not many nicknames associated with that, so it's pretty much what I'm called.
Some people call me by my last name but considering I've heard people pronounce it about 6 different ways (and I'm not even Polish) it usually doesn't stick.
My first two initials are R and J (I go by my middle name) so I guess RJ would work, but I've never suggested it. Maybe it's time I did.

Mine's Forest. Not bad, even considering I was named after Forest Whitaker. (I'm white.) It's unique enough to be memorable and short enough to not need a nickname, though I've had my share. When I played tennis in high school, they called me "Forester the Molester." When I made varsity, they just called me "Foresto." Eh, whatever. The ladies don't mind it
