Your OMG WTF moment in Minecraft

I once took 80,000 blocks of TNT to the wall of this one SMP RP server by hollowing the inside of it, and my friend who helped me accidentally struck on of the blocks before we were finished and a whole 1/3 of the wall around the city was destroyed >:O


They were so pissed ^_^

Pissed?... Or amazed
I mean come on, there must be something you can do with a giant hole in the wall.

The effect of monsters getting into their precious city (made in alpha when monsters didn't work) wasn't really doing it for me and my team so we took alot of the torches out ^_^

I have a castle on top of a hill. My daily schedule consisted of mining, sleep, mine, sleep. One day I walked to my chest in my mine (Consists of entirely pick axes) and as I dragged them to my inventory I hear "sssssssss". Turns out a creeper spawned right behind even though there was plenty of light and blew up. Amazingly I survived thanks to my armor.

I was in the Nether and my portal sent me to the ceiling of the Nether. So I spent a while looking for a way down. I put TNT down in a huge hole I made and overestimated on how fast I was. It blew up and I fell down the crater for fifty feet. I lived but I heard strange noises so I looked up. Every Ghast in a ten mile radius was alerted to where I was and was gathering around me. I simultaneously evaded fireballs and built a portal and escaped. However that brought me about two miles away from my castle in the night time. I took shelter and forged a compass. Half and hour later I found my castle with about six skeletons and zombies chasing after me. I ran in and heard a zombie noise. A zombie had spawn on my second story. Scared me shitless.

I don't play mine craft but during a 24 hour marathon long for a charity fund raiser event - my girlfriend going 16 hours without sleep was leveling a mountain apparently. Tired, she was like, I wonder how far I've dug? She looks behind her. Not in game, but in person. Needless to say the room burst out laughing after I asked what she was doing. it was one of the many hilarious things that night that happened.

One day I decided it was time to start a new file. I started playing a little and I got myself a stone house for some protection for the nightfall. An hour in, my computer overheated and shut-off. Once I rebooted, to my dismay, I found out that immediate shut-off had erased all progress (I had saved at least once).

A while later, I started a new map. After a week or so, I explored a ways away, until of a sudden, I saw a cobble structure in the distance. I was really confused, since I know cobble doesn't occur naturally above ground. As I got closer, I realized it was my old house from the deleted file. THAT was a big OMG WTF moment for me.

yeah that happened to me too... though it was a giant lava spewing tower...<.<
