There is an unofficial Dragonborn patch on Nexus.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31083

Haven't had a single problem thus far.

Now I don't buy DLC but a friend gifted me Dragonborn yesterday (well, I traded for 10 DOTA 2 keys ... I don't know anyone else who hasn't got it so i've still got 14 left) and so far i've really enjoyed it.

The side quests at Raven Rock were decent enough and the quest reward for saving "some fella who runs the town who's name I can't remember" was pretty decent (trying not to drop spoilers).

Haven't got that far in the main quest yet, just to Skall Village, but so far it's okay.

Not a fan of the new armours but I use modded armour anyway so it's no problem.

Over all it's not bad. I wouldn't have paid for it and still don't think it's worth what they charged for it but nevermind, it's still a good chunk of play time.

I heard that when it came out it had some pretty game breaking bugs but as of right now all I can say is that if the goal was to make nostalgic for the days of Morrowind then they have succeeded.

It's just more Skyrim content so you know what to expect, of course it is far less then the price would suggest but that just seems to be how DLC works nowdays.

I was pretty disappointed with it. It's buggy as hell, first off. It took me two hours to actually get the main quest to start because I couldn't get the damn cultists to attack me. I had several CTD on top of general bugginess (getting stuck in places, people falling into the floor). The main quest is the usual Bethesda affair (Only YOU can stop the UNBEATABLE MONSTER who wants to conquer the WORLD and kill EVERYBODY) and because of that there's no real surprises. Most of the characaters were also standard Bethesda affair, giving their life story in two sentences or less as you passed them. Though I did like Neloth a lot, especially since he seemed to realize he was in a Bethesda game.

The new armor is good for newer characters that haven't put much into smithing yet, not for endgame players though. The puzzles were new and much more improved over the standard affair and the sidequests were a bit interesting. The environment though was really fantastic. I was getting tired of all the skyrim mountains and cold snowy places. Though they did have some of that in Dragonborn it had a more Morrowind feel and I enjoyed that greatly.

Overall, I'd say it was a decent DLC that was a bit overpriced. If it was $15 I could give it a good recommendation, instead I give more of a "If you like Skyrim, this is more of that. If you're unsure check out some videos of it before hand." I did sink another 15 hours into Skyrim though, and it did give me a new reason to play after experiencing some exhaustion with it. As well I can't wait for the new mods to use the new material with the DLC. To me, Dawnguard was much better, I had a lot more fun with it and felt it was worth every penny of that $20. This...not so much. Still had fun though.

Solstheim is, of course, a sad place to be, particularly with the still-smoking embers of proud Dunmer creations hidden by swirling ash storms to the south-east. That being said, the potential for new modifications has been greatly expanded by this newest DLC. I cannot wait until someone expands the surviving Dunmer population with the new Redoran and Telvanni architecture Bethesda has provided. It will be great to see Tel Mithryn expanded and staffed with Telvanni guards.

I always suspected the cold, hard Redoran Guard would come out on top in a catastrophe.

Finally, this has all made me want to re-install Morrowind. Why on Earth did that even have an uninstall button anyway?

Found it to be completely underwhelming. The main quest was ridiculously short, which sucks considering it was one of my favourite storylines in Skyrim, the dragon riding was utterly useless, I never used any of the new shouts, the new armour was no good to me since none of it could measure up to my existing armour collection. The weapons-I actually liked them, the Nordic one handed sword was a welcome replacement for Harkon's pigsticker- and as for Solstheim, I never played Morrowind and from an aesthetic point, I much prefer Skyrim. Though as a geologist, I got much more pleasure from seeing the basalt columns laid down by the volcanic eruption than I probably should have.

25 hours, zero CTDs, zero bugs that I could see.

My only real complaint is that the MQ is terribly short, and Miraak is still to much of a mystery. Seeing spears and werebears, but not being able to use them/become one, was slightly disappointing as well, but nothing major.

but beyond that
-Solsthiem is great, the environment is a nice change from normal Skyrim, without being too radically different as to not feel like its part of the same game.
-Bethesda largely ditched radiant quests, and the ones that do remain are far better.
-The dungeons have FAR better puzzles then the base game, the one requireing the energy sword was pretty cool.
-Noeloth, dear god Neloth, hes such a badass.
-People actually react to things you do, something the base game sorely lacked.
-The new armors looked cool, and anyone with half-decent smithing can make them as good as everything else, so I've switched to the DEATHBRAND armor.
-The new powers/abilities you get from Herma-Mora's black books are stupidly OP, but fun to use.

I've finished the main quest and I enjoyed it, even the though dragonriding fight section in Apocrypha didn't seem to work too well. The thing that really irks me is that while you can craft new armour and weapons using the new raw materials available, none of them can be smithed to an extent that they improve on what's already available in vanilla Skyrim. I guess I just expected that the armour and weapons crafted from the super rare Stahlrim would be superior to even Daedric armour. I really wanted to wear some new armour but couldn't justify replaced my Daedric stuff if it was going to lower my defense.

Other than that, it's a good DLC and I got a good kick out of playing it - decent amount of content too.

The armor cap in the game is 567, Stahlrim armor can EASILY reach this with the ebony smithing perk.

It shouldn't lower your defense at all.

Honestly, I like it.. I loved the music, visuals and atmosphere of Morrowind, with its slightly more whimsical feel (hated the mechanics, but never mind) and it was nice to see some of those things make a return. The use of the Morrowind music was a cheap nostalgia tug, but actually just reminded me how much I love the score for that game.

The sections in Apocrypha were really visually imaginative, and there was much more room for exploration than in Dawnguard.

However, I've had to stop half way through because I've kind of ruined the game for myself. I took smithing and enchanting together, and now my character is so overpowered it's not fun any more, so I'm going to go back and make a new character with a different playstyle.

Just a tip for all the PC'ers who are new to Soltheim.
Go to the northern end of the island and follow along the middle coast, if you get to an inlet, you should find a very small island with a few boats, a couple tents, and multiple pirates.

Kill the pirates, find a boat with a book about a pirate captain.
You'll get an unmarked quest that you complete through references. Do it and you'll get best (unmodded/unexploited) armor/weapons in the game.

The bad guy kind of sucked. It's almost like they where trying to ape Ulysses form NV. In the "your not so different from the bad guy stick that didn't work.
