Something structurally similar to my favourite kids book series growing up, Animorphs, but for a more adult audience and eliminate all the flaws I can see now that I'm older. Fewer jump scares, less filler, and the 'evil alien parasite' faction are even squickier than before. In fact don't even make them aliens, but a newly-evolved lifeform trying to survive and urged to conquest by their leaders. They would be more sympathetic, less reliant on cliched sci-fi technology by giving them the ability to bolster the strength and agility of their hosts to incredible heights.

While the series managed plenty of gallows humour and funny stuff with Marco and Ax despite the grim setting, I would like to include a short 'outside-continuity' fan-mail section after each episode where characters take and act on requests mailed in from the RL audience.

I'd make an anime about some guy who gets sucked into an alternate reality where everyone else is an anime stereotype, or stock character, or whatever term you prefer. The show would then revolve around the main character trying to get back to his own world, while simultaneously trying to avoid getting involved in cloyingly sweet love stories and giant robot battles that plague this strange world. It would be called Jimmies Adventure in WATASHI BOSHI DESU NEKO UGUUU.

Holy shit this actually sounds awesome. If someone here steals it, I will cut you good.

You know, that sounds like a pretty good idea for a Pokemon fanfic. It'd certainly be different to the majority of the ones on fanfiction.net, at least. Perhaps you should try writing one- you have a working synopsis for the first few chapters at least.

Mine would be about sky pirates. When I was younger I read a series called the Edge Chronicles which made me fall in love with the concept of skyships. The world that the show would take place on is a world covered archipelago of floating islands, though there are some regular landmasses, which are where the more wealthy people live. On the floating islands is where the normal people live, and where sky traders ply their trade all the while wary of sky pirates. It would be a more adult series, with a steampunk setting, with a Victorian style as far as fashion goes.

The series would follow Ambrose, and the other members of the crew of The Thunderhawk, a skyship of a less than reputable nature. Ambrose is the ships doctor, and while he has some ethical issues that he struggles with, he (and most of the crew) is basically a good man in a world mostly populated with bastards.
I like your premise, and especially the name of the main character ("Ambrose" sounds like it fits the setting). I find that a ship called "Thunderhawk" might be the receiver of some crude jokes, however (which actually might be a good source of humor within the story).

I have a TON of anime ideas.
The most current one is that of a new witch in a Urban Fantasy setting. Containing a lot of half breed characters with a wide variety of powers, Loads and Loads of characters, Magical badasses springing from where they are least expected, a lot of curb stomp battles as well as underdog victories, and last but not least a good sense of humor. I'm thinking a webcomic is more of a better idea for this but I so want to make an anime.

For this idea though I already have a list of characters, lineages for most of them, backgrounds, motivations, villains, encounters, and in some cases even brick jokes.

My second idea (which may be integrated to the first) is another Urban Fantasy about a duo of necromancers, a brother and sister. The sister (currently named "Mort") is more of a sentient preserved zombie with necrotic powers due to an accident and her brothers quick thinking. Since any damage can be easily fixed she develops a disregard for her own safety that drives her brother mad since he hates grave robbing parts for her.
The brother (currently unnamed) is a bit more interesting structurally. He had lost one of his arms in the same accident his sister was in and replaced it with a mechanical construction that uses necrotically controlled parts of his own arm instead of servos and motors (since he hates grave robbing). He later builds a small (car sized) mecha for his sister to use through similar methods.
There is also a third character who I have (In universe, Mort has) dubbed "Red". He works for the government and is tasked first with eliminating them then, after elimination fails spectacularly, observing the previous pair. He has a pathological fear of Mort after the first meeting in which he blows off half her jaw only to have her pin him down and yell at him (with only half a jaw), spewing blood and spit everywhere. Then she accidentally sneezes and coats his entire torso and face in blood. Eventually I plan on him succumbing to stockholm syndrome. Yes he is the but monkey of the series.
Also there are a group of zombie/necromancer slayers. A modern day paladin and healer. A gravedigger who is the brothers nemesis. And a few other necromancers of varying alignments.
This one is a lot more "Dark powers, Good People" and mistaken intentions sprinkled with a lot of comedy or at least attempts at comedy.

I also have older more fleshed out settings and characters somewhere in my brain but it would be hard to post a simple synopsis of them.
