Crowning Moment of Awesome: A time where awesomeness is unleashed, and it pretty much beats everything that's happened so far. Cue the epic music.

TV shows, films and video games all have their awesome moments. But now the question is put to you, dear Escapist, what has the crowning moment of awesome been in your life. As for me, I'm very young and haven't had one so far (actually, perhaps acing my English GSCE might count, or climbing Mt Snowdon... but really, so far nothing), but I'd be more interested in what yours were.

So the question is this:

What was the single most (crowning moment of) awesome moment in your life?

Stopping someone from commiting suicide. Sounds strange, but I really liked that moment in retrospective, I think it brought out my true nature, wich apperantly is pretty damned good.

Probably playing Team Fortress 2 a couple of months ago... I was playing as a Heavy (my main class), and I walk around a corner. As I do, I hear the dreaded "be-beep" of a turret winding up. Somehow, I manage to kill this turret, kill the heavy standing next to it, the pyro who was spychecking, the engineer who's turret it was, took out the teleporter and the dispencer, and proceeded to drag the cart single handedly to their base.

Either that or managing to get a high-score in the Gamerlympics last year

I was riding my bike and the pedals both just exploded off it. So I was riding without being able to speed up, but I was right on the edge of a river and this downhill slope came up. So I'm racing down it, and managed to stop before falling off the edge the little overlook. And I got a new bike for my trouble.

Yeah, going up on stage for the first time has to be my moment of awesome. Loved every second of it, although the run up to it was terrifying.
