The perfect band is already here, it goes by the name of Coheed and Cambria.
Exactly. I honestly can't think of a group of people that would sound better together.

Hello fellow escapists, easy question here, who would you have in your perfect band?

i would have Angus Young, Lars Ulrich, Slash, Mike Dirnt and Brian Johnson.
This is a good choice if you wish your band to go into a commercial direction and have money, but dislike the creative and experimental side of things.
at least you know it would work

That sounds very interesting
I like how a lot of the posts so far have included flea as the bassist

But THIS is my dream band:
Dexter Holland (The Offspring) - Vocals and guitar
Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) - Guitar
Chris #2 (Anti-Flag) - Bass Guitar
John Dolmayan (System of a Down) - Percussion

The original drummer and bassist for The Who are dead. The only members of The Beatles still alive are the drummer and bassist.

It simply is the direction a band is to take when their drummer is the most avid player of off-timed beats and particularly off timed at the double bass drum in the entire world.
