Today has been a perfect day for me.
I woke up at noon, after having a super restful sleep, and went to have lunch at Edo
At Edo, I had the best Bento box ever, it was so amazingly good and filled me up perfectly.
I then went to EB games, bought L.A. Noire, pre-ordered OoT on 3DS, Duke Nukem on 360, and MW3 on 360, and talked about good games for a while with the guy who worked there.
After that, I went and paid my bills, cashed my taxes cheque, and found out my bank owed me $100.
Now I'm home and watching game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals, where my Boston Bruins are gonna kick Vancouver's ass, and Conan is playing on channel 47, AMC.

Have any of you ever had an absolutely perfect day that just got better and better as the day went on?

My perfect day happened a few weeks ago,

So summer vacation had just started for me so I got up around 10 am and my dad was home early (he works out of town) so we went out to lunch to my favorite restaurant Buffalo Wild Wings. after that I lazed around most of the day until around 4 when my dad told me to get my shoes on. It turns out he had tickets to my favorite baseball team (the cleveland indians) home game against the seattle mariners.

So after picking up my younger brother we drove to cleveland (we live about an hr and a half away) and my dad had tickets to the lower box seats so we had really good seats. and the game ended perfectly after trailing almost the entire game at the bottom of the 9th with two outs and 1 or 2 runners on base (don't remember how many were on base) on a 2-2 count travis hafner hits the game winning walk off homerun to win the game.

I'd like to think I haven't had a perfect day yet. Plenty of good days, and a perfect day to look forward to.

I have lots of great days though. Any day I am happy, then that's a great day for me. It's been pretty easy to get to that place lately, so I feel pretty lucky about that.

I wake up at 8 (I really like to wake up early), have a cup of tea and some cereal, watch Law & Order: Criminal intent, play videogames, look on the escapist, watch more Law & Order: Criminal intent, in the meantime I like to look up the hockey scores on nhl.com, watch youtube, have lunch, watch cartoons, look on the escapist some more, maybe watching a couple of videos (like Zero punctuaton, top 5 with Lisa Foiles and Extra credits) have dinner, then, surprise, surprise, watch more Law & Order: Criminal intent or cartoons.

Yeah, I really like Law & Order: Criminal intent

I have never had a perfect day, because I had never had a day in which I did nothing. And that is how I'd spend my perfect day.

So how'd that perfect day turn out for you? You can't stop the Sedin twins.

OT: Never had a perfect day. Probably never will.

Yes, I have. It mostly involved ker-razy hotel sex, rented movies, a massage and awesome room service food.

A Hermit's Cave
August (can't remember date, but it was a Thursday) 2004

Morning: Got up at ten, picked up A-Level results... awesome, got into first choice uni.
Lunch: Quiet meal at gf's place, a toast to our mutual success (much red wine consumed).
Early afternoon: Trying to read... with attractive member of opposite sex in otherwise empty house.
Late afternoon: Have a guess.
Early evening: Quiet meal in inappropriate state of undress.
Late evening: See (Late afternoon).

That, ^ , is the one and only day I'm willing to set groundhog day at.

Funny enough, the Sedin twins stopped themselves with penalties several times.
I'm just glad to see Vancouver winning a game themselves, and not having the officials win it for them.
That goal came really late, and Thomas played an absolutely amazing game. Boston needs to get a real powerplay presence, and get faster to keep up with that aggressive Vancouver offense. But all said and done, its 1 game out of 7, and there is alot of hockey left to play.

And you will have a perfect day one of these days.

To be honest, I didn't even get to see the game. I was working. I just wanted to give you shit because I love the Canucks. I'm hoping to be able to see at least one game in the series, but my work schedule is looking like I won't be able to. Here's hoping to a close and action packed, 7-game series though!

My perfect day would have to be walking into GAME on the release date of a game I know I'm going to be the only person in my county to play, to find that the only other person in line for such game is a decent looking girl, who I start talking to due to that fact, discovering having a lot of things in common, asking her out, her saying yes then proceeding to run around the street with my arms up proclaiming "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" to return and ask "That didn't put you off, did it?" which she then finds cute. And then, out of nowhere, one of the employees announces they are now taking preorders for TimeSplitters 4, since it was just miraculously announced with a release date that moment, and then me and the girl start endlessly dancing together in spontaneous happiness.

BUT THAT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.

So no, I have never had a perfect day.
