Neverwinter Nights 1, for some reason I'm still playing it again and again, even though I know most of those main quest, and don't play much multiplayer.
I'm weird I know.

Pokémon. I'm just going to count them as one game, as for the most part they are rather similar. I've spent ~1000 hours on the franchise without even trying to "catch 'em all", hell a lot of it was level grinding.

Kinda regret a lot of that wasted time now that I look back at it.
If pokémon as a series counts, it wins for me hands down. I have just over 2000 hours in WoW (big surprise right?) and I have almost equaled that in 5th generation pokémon alone. Competitive level breeding and training sucks the hours away like that.

Over the years, I've spent a good 3000+ hours on the 'mon. Being a breeder/battler for these last 2 generations and having every obtainable pokémon in generation 3. Not to mention all the run-throughs I've done of the games in the past 15 years, with various self-imposed difficulties.

Don't regret a second of it.

Megaman 2.

I bought the NES version when I was in the 5th grade and played it at least once a month well into the SNES and N64 era. I bought the Game Cube Megaman collection just for Megaman 2 and still play it frequently.

I play Megaman 2 the way some guys smoke or masturbate, it's barely something I do specifically because I enjoy it (though I do) but more because the familiarity helps me relax.

Coming up close behind are my annual play through of Castlevania: SotN and Super Metroid.

Also World of Warcraft, been playing since a month after the game was launched and although I've never been a hardcore player I guarantee my total play time pretty high.

I think I've played Mass Effect about 8-10 times, Mass Effect 2 about 5 times, and Mass Effect 3 3 times. I've logged truckloads of time into TF2, but I've been playing since it's launch back in 2007, so over 5 or so years, that's not too bad.

Easily Morrowind. Oddly enough, I've only finished it once (the main quest might be the least interesting part of the game), but I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours playing with all different characters. In fact, I think I'm due for another go around soon. I haven't played it with the Morrowind Overhaul 3.0 mod yet.

Out of all the games whose playtime I actually know (read: out of all my Steam games) my most played is Spiral Knights at 411 Hours.

Huh, not quite sure...

I played World of Warcraft on and off for several years, that's probably eaten up a few hundred hours. Same with League of Legends. DotA2 claims I've been logged in for more than 150 hours by this point, which kinda adds up. I also did about a dozen or more playthroughs of Baldur's Gate 2 in my life, which has got to account for 100-200 hours. Total War games took their toll as well, especially Medieval 2 (best TW game to date). Then there are the Bioware RPGs... I played through Mass Effect 4+ times, same with Mass Effect 2. Did at least 3 playthroughs of Dragon Age. KotOR had its share as well.

And THEN we get to a bunch of other games that I played from start to finish multiple times, like Planescape Torment, Fallout 1-3, Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate 1, Warcraft 3, Starcraft, etc...

Halo 3 for sure. I don't even play it anymore but it will probably top the list for a few years to come. All those weekend long Halo 3 marathons and max rank accounts. I don't regret a second of it at all either, all my online friends are from Halo 3 and I can't seem to find cool people anymore outside of it.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

I play it every year, sometimes multiple times. Granted, I haven't completed it in like... 9 years or something...? But, still. 2002-2004 I played it like non-stop, all the time. Probably going over 1000 hours in that time alone. 2004-2013 I probably played like 500 or something hours of it all together. Man, I need to start that shit again....

hmm.. let's see, including MMOs, it's WoW, by a exceptionally large margin. almost 550 days worth of playtime.

Not including MMOs, the highest tracked game is NWN1.

but I'm pretty sure I put more time into Fallout 3.

I don't know exactly, but if I had to make a quick guess: Modern Warfare 2. Last I checked my stats, I had about 400 hours clocked on that. Plus a Veteran campaign playthrough, as well as about 15 of the spec-ops completed on Hardened.

Final Fantasy IX or Pokemon Blue.

I have PS1 memory cards filled with just ff9 games. The only item I never got in that game was Excaliber 2 because I could never get to Memoria in under 12 hours. I kept getting distracted by chocobos or Stellazios.

Pokemon is Pokemon.

I spent a fair chunk of my childhood playing those games.

I have no idea which, but its either Ultima Online or Warcraft 3.

And I'd probably still be playing both of them if there was a free shard that was any good for UO. And WC3 if Blizzard's lead programmer didn't release a bunch of source code for it allowing for an insane array of new and extremely powerful hacks, for which they promoted that asshole, and then gave absolutely zero shits about anyone hacking to the point where I got DCON hacked by the guildmaster of the 2nd ranking ladder guild three times in a row in 2v2 matches for which I sent in a highly documented report that they did absolutely nothing about.

Probably Obilvion. I think I had 400-500 hours the last time I checked. I had over 200 hours on one character before I brought the Amulet of Kings to Jauffre.

Gotta be World of Warcraft. When I had an Altoholic addon many years ago my total game time was 260 days, not including all my deleted characters. Played for quite some time after that as well.
LOTRO is my close second. Logged in almost daily for the past three years.

Would have to be Final Fantasy 7, dropped well over 1,000 on that back on PS1, and added more to it when it came out for PS3/PSP.
