Homeworld/Homeworld: Cataclysm. I list these together, because they hold the same place in my heart, and I consider them part of the same thing anyway.
inFamous 1. Had so much fun playing this game. Made me genuinely feel like a superhero, with a kryptonite that made sense, and was a serious detriment to my powers. Plus it's one of the few sandbox games that made me feel like I was genuinely making a difference in the area, and getting direct feedback about those changes.
Life is Strange: Episode 2. I really do have to list this, simply because I'm basing "favorite games of all time" on how much emotional impact they had on me. And this part, when it first came out, playing it fresh on release date, hit me like a truck. The climax of it had me so anxious and nervous, I was genuinely shaking, worried about what the outcome would be. Few games make me give a shit about the pixels on the screen in front of me, all of the games in this list of mine did. And that's why they're there.
