I used MSN/or WLM for a couple of years and hated it, reason because all of my classmates were using it. It made both my computer and internet slower than usual. It also increased CPU usage and gave me spam messages. I dislike its interface greatly.
I'm having been using Skype instead, so far it works well. Way better than WLM ever did. I've tried out Google Talk and there's potential. I never bothered with Yahoo though I might try out the rest that was mentioned above.
