Mile high club achievement on COD 4 at the highest difficulty.

Having the patience to bring down the Star Destroyer in Star Wars: Force Unleashed.

Beating the original boss character in Gears of War on insane.

Completing Battletoads. Completing Megaman 2. And I'm also The Guy, on Hard difficulty.

Anyone old enough should know what I'm talking about with Battletoads and Megaman 2.

What can I say, I'm something of a masochist. Curiously enough, none of these so-called achievements in the games these days interest me one bit. They all feel so artificial. 'Complete this section' 'Kill X number of enemies' etc. I don't like that, I get no sense of satisfaction or having actually accomplished anything from those.

I'm quite certain this thread has been done before.

Yesterday I killed all 8 CT's by myself in the first (pistol) round in CS:S. On a public server of course. Something that takes a bit of luck too. That's the first one that comes to mind. Not the proudest, but I can't think of anything else at the moment.

My proudest moment would probably be me beating Dragon Quest VIII without having my party wiped out once (including the postgame Dragovian Trials). It was even bigger in my eyes than beating it once before with a massively underleveled party (highest 35, lowest 28).

I have two very proud moments,
The first is collecting all the Faries in the great bay temple, and the second is when I finally beat Mother 3. (I sucked at combos.)

It would probably be completing Call of Duty 2 on Veteran difficulty.

I was very proud of having done it, but to say I enjoyed it would be a huge lie. It basically becomes an exercise in memorising where the enemies spawn and spamming them with grenades and machinegun fire the instant they do.

I used to be able to take on 9 Nightmare-difficulty bots in Quake 3 Arena.

I've also commanded the US team to victory in BF2, and my personal best score was 235 points as commander, which earned the gold star for the round.

Don't worry you'll get better at them. Especially if you play the game multiple times. If you need practice on some just go into the Battle Memory (if you're doing the fan translation) and do some fights that you've had trouble with. I will say that Strong One and Fate/Serious are both really hard though.

The other one is the bossfight in Killzone 2.
