Okay, lets see if you can help me out with this one:

[spoiler/]I've had this dream for about 6 years now, on and off about ever week or so. It starts off with me in a pitch black room. I can't see anything at all. Then, at the end of the very long hallway, there's a light shining down upon something, but I can't quite make it out yet. I get closer and see its the figure of a woman. Her back is turned to me. I see her as having a slim figure, sitting down on a stool. She has short, curly raven black hair. I get closer and hear the sound of whimpering. I can tell its coming from her. I ask if she's okay. She turns to me quickly and I see tears running down her cheeks. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. She quickly stands, faces me and runs to me and holds me close, crying into my chest. She then leads me to sit with her on the floor, still holding onto me. I'm now holding her and caressing her back, telling her it will be okay. She then looks at me, gently says in a soft voice, "I've always loved you" then crumbles to ash in my arms. Then I wake.[/spoiler]

I've given myself what I believe to be a good analysis of this dream, but I'd like to hear someone else's view.
As things are, I'm honetsly tempted to mark this up to nothing more than a brain fart; did your mother or some other important female figure recently pass away? For the time, there's just not much to say.
Really? I don't think something that's been going on for 6 years at least once a week can just be so easily passed off as a "brain fart"

That was pretty cool

I however do not dream. Sadly.
Shame.
True that.

Anyways, let see if you can help me with this.

So apparently I sleep talk (decently frequently and loudly). As been pointer out by my family. Last time they said that I was saying "Next level, Vicky has it, next level". Which is understandable, since I recently got Dragon Age Origins. (Morrigan=Vicky?). But still, I didn't have a dream that night. None at all. I just went to sleep and woke up. Blackness the whole way.

My family tells me this happens semi frequently, but I have never had a dream on those days were they tell me I sleep talk. And its not one of those I had a dream but I forgot what it was about. I had no dream any of those times. Non at all. Just fell asleep and woke up.

In one dream, I was walking through an old city (you know, cobblestones, old buildings, picture the 1800's). I walk into a church, and descend into the basement. The basement is more of a catacomb, all stone, with a large room and several statues lining the walls (each the same distance from one another, and each statue is hooded). One of the statues is holding a candle, the only light in the room. I walk up to something like a stone coffin, and look at it for a few seconds. I abruptly turn around, seeing that the statue that is holding the candle is actually a teenage girl (still dressed in robe and hood). She smiles, and blows out the candle. I feel something grab me, and I wake up.

Any ideas? It's been stuck in my head for a while.

Okay lets go with this old one, since I haven't actually dreamt much lately other than a shadowy figure opening my door and throwing a knife through my head... that dream sucked.

Okay I start off being in my living room, and for some reason I trip on a carpet and fall on the floor, only it's a really long way down, and I fall onto an iceburg... Now for some odd reason Several friends from my old class are there, as well as sonic the hedgehog (I have no idea why that was) No one speaks, but I speak to them anyway about somthing I can't really remember, I don't actually look at anyone, even though I know they're there. Then for some reason they want me to go get fish to eat... I dive in the water that I've suddenly become aware of and... then that's kinda it.

I had this one when I was young, around 9. I'm interested in seeing if you can figure out what event in my past may have caused this.
In my dream, I'm running. I can't see who or what I'm running from but then I realize that I'm losing speed and before long I'm just walking normally. I begin to scream without even knowing if anything is even following me and then I begin to fall. As I'm falling, I look around and I see another child falling beside me. I don't recognize him from my past and I even know exactly what he looks like. Then I look down and see a giant mouth that's like the size of a house below us and it's about to eat us out of the sky. Then I woke up. My mother told me that I was sleep walking. When she tried to put me back in bed, I ran from her and huddled in the corner and begin to scream and cry.

Any ideas?

Oh, please make sense of my dreams. I've got 2 for you.

First, a recent short one.

I'm in a white room, and in a doctors' coat. I'm holding a clipboard and so I guess I'm a doctor. There's a dog (Pug I think) in front of me. I turn, say, "Une Momento" and punch the dog in the face. Then I wake up.

Quite odd for me. Now for the other one.

I am in a tour group consisting of a good sized group of random unknowns. Some guy is talking about things, presumably relating to the tour. For some reason, we're all standing in a giant waterslide inside of a mall. The waterslide appears to be circular and horizontal. The group and I are standing perfectly normally on the slide instead of (as logic would imply) falling down through it. All of a sudden, a giant shark comes around the bend and bites me. Somehow, it bites me on both the head and my left forearm at the same time even though it has only 1 mouth. Somehow, I'm alive.

Next, I'm looking down at the situation from a cat walk from above. I walk away and come to a hallway. There's a door at the end of the hallway and some guy in front of that door holding a gun. He tries to shoot the gun, but it's jammed. I walk up to him, take the gun out of his hand, point it at him, and shoot the gun. Apparently, it unjammed itself when I grabbed it. I then opened the door the guy was in front of and then my dream ended.

I have plenty more very weird dreams if you'd like to hear 'em. I don't actually remember any of my dreams unless they're quite weird...
You hate pugs. As do we all. This is just a brain fart.

As for the second one...well, that's just another one. I could ascribe some meaning to it, but that'd just be phoning it in.

I once had this dream where I went on a date with some girl, then after the date I took her home and went to my friends house to help his parents set up for his birthday. While getting everything set my friend's cake (it had a picture of him skateboarding on it) exploded getting cake everywhere. That is all.

Also, what can you tell me about premonitions? Because I get those from time to time too.
The cake was a bomb.

Again, not making much sense, unless your friend recently dinged himself in an accident.

ok a not so but tiny bit recurring dream Ive had goes as following.
A turtle is happy because his eggs are hatching and his wife will be along any moment to watch them hatch with him, when she dosent show up he starts to worry, but dismisses the thought as the eggs are hatching, they crack open and he looks at them, they are cute as buttons and tickle his heart strings, then they smile revealing a set of large sharp teeth, they chase him into the ocean the way gnawing at him and biting him, he makes it to the ocean but and escapes, but he sees a shark coming from behind, he swims as fast as he can, just getting away from the shark, when he gets to two strange isles, he climbs to the top and sees his, wife, who he has been looking for, she looks at him and shakes her head at him , he does not understand until he see the larger, stronger turtle come up and kiss his wife, he breaks into tears and the dream ends with him diving into the see, commiting suicide.
I view the dream as if I'm the turtle, viewing from a 3rd person perspective.

...Fuck. Now I wanna go cut myself.

Well, at least it's interesting:

First up, odds are that you've been burned by something that had great potential at one pont or another; something that could have been magnificent ended up becoming physically and emotionally detrimental to you (may or may not have been in the form of either something a family member could have done or the actual member themselves).

Then, I'd imagine that the shark represents the way life can...the way life can sneak up and attack you even though...

Ah, screw it. Life sucks, it can sneak up on you and break your heart, goodnight. I mean, I literally can't make anything out of this beyond something that would've made Hobbes jealous.

...okay, you made a good plea. I'll turn this over and see if I can think of anything. Sit tight and stay sane.
Whoops, to late to stay sane

That was a pretty good intrepretation though. And here's the other dream i had: I was in my Judo uniform (and i was a mongoose, again) and i was wrestling a giant Cobra in my house with everyone i practically know watching me, and if i would let go, i would die. That was pretty awesome, but in the end i got thrown off and killed. So what does this mean?

I had this dream about a week ago, wrote it all down because I thought it was fucked up enough to warrent it worth keeping. I was in the process of watching Firefly and Serenity for the first time (I know that I'm a horrible person for only watching them now.)

I was talking to Summer Glau (dressed like River, but totally sane) in a somewhat distorted version of my bedroom, about us meeting up for coffee. She seems to genuinly like me, but has to run off to a meeting with her agent at the beach, agree's to meet me on the 23rd. The dream quickly shifts to River, Kaylee and I walking up from the water at the beach to the north east, Summer/River talks to kaylee about her liking me, seemingly oblivious to the fact I am standing right there.

Eventually leading to a series of ravines and cliff faces, we decide we need to get to the other side of a caynon, where a boat dock is waiting. I reach the edge of the dock and clamber up, followed by Summer/River who, as she pulls herself up, slips and begins to fall into the crevasse below. I throw myself almost off the peir and pull her up over the edge of the crevase and onto the peir. Kaylee's disapeared. The dream then melds back to the warped version of my room, where Summer/River and I, well lets say I hit third base.

There's a lot more of this mindfuck of a dream, but I want to see what you make of this bit first :p
...What?

Listen, I never watched Firefly, so I'm more or less washed ashore when it comes to whether or not the characters themselves mean anything.

However, I can indeed make sense of the whole cliff face thing: In a nutshell, this is you telling yourself that it's nothing but a dream, and that it's time to wake up. However, because it wasn't yet morning, the bit that followed was merely some well-aimed fanservice.

Honestly, there's not much to say beyond that until I watch it myself.

Also, your avatar is classy. Well-picked.

Bollocks to your uninteresting mindfuck-- what I want to hear more about is your first dream!

It seems rather plain that you fear that one day someone or something will intrude upon your life-- specifically, in your 'sanctum', as it were-- and cause harm to you.

Listen people-- I'm a psychologist, not Dr. Strange. Details are key here, as is proper readability (not you in particular, though).

Fear caught up to you, you lost it, was metaphorically swallowed by it.

Ah...My favorite nutter!

Again, let's go through the motions:

You know how Rorshach from Watchmen became his costumed identity? That's what I'm getting from the whole mongoose thing.
But be proud-- there are far worse self-representations you could've chosen!
Otherwise, let's make it simple: The mongoose is a predator, the cobra is its prey. Given your relative positions, I do believe that this is a manifestation of the way you're constantly in a struggle with the shit life flings your way.

The reason everyone was there is because you are acutely conscious of the fact that the things you do will have a direct impact on them-- or more likely, their opinions of you. They scrutinize you intently; and you know that life could buck you off and splatter you against the rocks at any moment.

Finally, you are absolutely terrified that one day you'll lose control-- then WHAM! Lights out.

Do come again.

Ok I got one where I became a kid who skipped class alot, and somehow never got in trouble. I also always found odd ways to do it (jumping out of windows, climbing airvents, etc.). though some of its a blur I remember also at one point get into a gun fight with robots. I think it was just one of the messed up dreams

I'll give you one of my more interesting, non-lucid ones. I was walking through my old hometown to my grandmother's house, in Tennessee. The only thing was, it was deathly quiet. The houses were all abandoned and in varying stages of dereliction. There was a mild breeze that ruffled the trees and cooled the air, but no birds. No dogs. No animal life of any kind. I finally make it to my grandmother's, which was in a similar state of disuse. I then began playing a game of chess with Death at the dining room table. I woke up before the game was over, but I was one move away from winning.

I had a crazy dream that a serial killer had was in my aunt's house, and he looked like Robert Downey Jr. A shotgun firefight breaks out between me and Robert, which despite the blasts blowing apart items, no shells physically came out. Suddenly, I'm talking tensely to him as he's pacing back and forth, chuckling as I talk about Purgatory (Painkiller rules: you stay there until you purify yourself and can be sent to Heaven.) and how he still has a chance to change. Next thing I know, he's asleep in the back of a cop car as the police are telling me that the killer's past record was that he was an insomniac and hadn't slept in ten years. Then I look over to a woman who's sleeping but starts having fits until she strikes me this evil "I'm baaaack" look. I start running off while saying to the police, "this is beyond you and me." Aaannndd, boom! Awake!

Try that on for size!

Here's one:

I was on a boat, then I got off of it onto land, walked into an African village and saw starving african children shooting up heroine. Right after that, I appeared back on the boat (now at night, and in a terrible storm) and all the boat had been partially destroyed, was partially sunk, and there were the african kids dead floating in the bit of water that had gotten into the boat.

WTF does that mean!?

Alright not a recent one but the most recent I remember.

I was in an underground cave, there was a pit with magma or lava whatever it's called at the bottom, there was only two ways to cross, a hole on the other side about halfway down from the top of the pit and a bridge. At first my team and I, the team being comprised of Samus, Link and other vide game characters I cant quite remember, I was Fox (from star fox) at first we were going to cross the bridge but before we did evrything went black for a bit and when things cleared up everyone but me was gone but they're voices were still there... and they were talking about killing me. So I said "Fuck it" and made a jump across the pit towards the hole that was halfway down the wall and right before I made it I suddenly woke up.

i remember in one of my dreams, i was playing at some rock concert, when all of a sudden some alien-like things bust through the walls and start killing everyone all while im still playing, then one of them shoots at me and the shot nails me in the head, needless to say i stopped playing, slowly moved my head back down looking at the one who shot me and i guess for a few minutes or something i was seeing outside my body what was happening/what i looked like at the moment and i had the bullet hole in my head, my eyes glowing a very bright almost white red and i get the guitar and start speeding around the stadium killing the aliens in various manners (im not sure escapist will let me go into further detail) in a FLCL-esque fashion

and then once i kill the very last alien that was trying to crawl away, i look up through a massive hole in the roof of the stadium and see some gigantic mech stomp its leg down on me
BUT, that didnt kill me (mostly in my dreams like me i dont die too easily...), instead, again im seeing outside my body, and i see myself burst out the top of the mech and im looking at myself floating in the air with guitar in hand as the mechs exploding behind me
and then as i look off in the distance i see some sort of mega nuke thing falling through the air several miles away, and after the shockwave passes through me, i watch as the explosion slowly heads toward me and then, i wake up.... thinking "holy shite, that was fucking awesome..."
so, you just try to find any logic or deep inner meaning to this, because all i can come up with is that its a result of the anime i watch and games i play and loving playing the guitar

thats not actually true because i could come up with a very obscure interpretation of this, of how everything stands for something in my life and personality, how the events that happened are showing me what i think of the world and whats to become of it (i.e. the nuke symbolizing the imminent destruction/reformation of the worlds current state and that i cant do anything about it accept watch as it engulfs everything in its wake, leaving everything in a state that is completely different and with no trace of what it was before, and my reaction to it all could be that that is how it has become, that even though everything is completely different we just sit back and are pleased with what it is, unknowing of what is happening, blinded by our own amusement, but i digress...)
so yeah, see what you think of it...

You have an ambition-- but you know that realizing said dream will alienate those you hold dear, and life in general. This ambition is, at first glance, to cheat death-- but deep down you know that's not possible, which may explain why your dream ended when it did.

Well now, you should've been able to figure that one out by yourself!

First, let's explain Robert Downey Jr's presence:

First, look at your avatar and tell me what it is.

Good.

Now, look at thse photographs.

That wasn't Robert Downey Jr-- It was the comedian, fanboy...not that I'm one to throw stones in that regard. I mean, it's all there-- pacing, chuckling, shotgun, Watchmen Avatar...

As for the rest: brain fart.

Well if you can make sense of an old childhood dream of mine I'm surprised I still remember, that'd be pretty cool.

So anyway.

I was walking into my parents room in our old house. My older brother and sister were sitting on the bed intently listening to a strange white haired woman that seemed to radiate light. I turn around and see a baby cradle rocking back and forth so I go up to investigate. Suddenly a witch pops up in the air screaming and swoops down and stabs me.

but yea I really have no clue why I remember that.
