I have a horrible sense of smell thanks to a near constant cold. For some reason though, my sense of taste is pretty sensitive.

My fingers bend backwards at the knuckles naturally, and my left thumb can even go around 90[sup]0[/sup] in the opposite direction.

I cant gain weight, and as a consequence I suffer horribly from low temperatures.

I don't really think I have anything...

Nope, nothing.

EDIT: I tell a lie. If I press the back of my left hand against my back and arch it, my spine clicks. Also very occasionally my chest hurts and I feel out of breath, once I had a dream that someone pulled my heart out and destroyed it and I woke up with the chest pains...I should probably go to a doctors soon. Thanks for making this thread to remind me :p
Maybe you should see a psychiatrist?....

anyway!, I'm like Skeleon, my eyelid flutters when I'm stressed out, its a relatively new addition to my body, and its not welcome.

I have that as well, it's just fluid moving about within the joint cavity that makes that noise.

Another unique thing is my fingers. Put your hand flat on the table then flex your fingers backwards. Notice how yours are straight? Mine curve backwards, I'm not sure why.
Its synovial fluid, I heard that nitrogen bursting is the cracking sound we hear, not sure whether thats an old wives tale. And I hate old wives, trophy wives aren't too bad I guess.

There you go, I have a quirky mind.

Edit, to the batcave!

Let's see...I can dislocate my arms. Everyone thinks I'm just lifting them up but when they put their hands on the shoulders they can actually feel it coming out of the socket. Freaks most people out. That, and despite my considerable weight (I have big legs), I can sit perfectly cross-legged indefinitely and it feels better to me than sitting otherwise.

That, and my spinal column cracks so much that I'm a chiropractor's worst nightmare, but that's less a natural part of me than a side effect of a car crash some 12ish years ago.

Haha! I found it quite funny that you were telling me it's called synovial fluid when I study medicine... I kinda already know what it is!

Well I didn't know that did I?

So is that cracking sound nitrogen or do I get a trophy wife now?

I can dislocate my jaw, have double jointed fingers (I can bend them at the top joint and only the top joint), and that's all I can think of right now.

My legs don't bend out straight, only on uneven surfaces like a bed.
My jaw always cracks when I yawn.
That's about it, I think.

I can lick my elbow and wiggle my ears. I'm also immune to hangovers (so far...)

My friend has a very odd skull shape as well, he has a neanderthal-like ridge above his eyes.

Is anyone familiar with that clicking sound reindeers make when they walk, because of their tendons? Yeah I've got that too, it's annoying. Click clack click clack, I loose the element of surprise like that, and I always want to keep the element of surprise.

Also, my legs are 1 big scar-fest. I've got a bad history of scratching, my legs used to be covered in massive wounds, spots 10 cm's long simply without skin because I scratched/scraped/grated it off. That's a long time ago, but the leathery scars are still there.

Don't worry, I'm not upset, I just think it's amusing!

It's the sound of fluid moving into the joint. When joints are compressed a protein within the synovial fluid known as hyaluronan (a proteoglycan) acts as a sponge to conserve the water which makes up the fluid and when the pressure is released they reabsorb the water which was squeezed out back. This movement of fluid can cause popping sounds in some joints.

I have an irregular heart beat, a resting heart rate of 100-120bpm. I have ridiculously good hearing (the tv frequencies drive me absolutely insane) I can also hear dog whistles...yeah...that pissed me off too. I have a dent in my chest (which for some reason makes people want to touch it and stuff O__o) oh! and my eyes change colors randomly.

Yeah I know, everyone is unique and has a special body blah blah blah, sometimes though I feel as though there are things about my body that are just plain weird. For example, my arms don't fully bend/extend at the elbow. where as a normal person can fully straighten out their arm, mine will always have a slight bend at the elbow - heck some people can bend it so far it straightens then bends again in the other direction. I've never heard of someone having this problem (and no, I've never broken my arms, or anything).

Another one is my clicking/popping jaws. I've had them since I was 16, and I remember a doctor telling me that there is no (worthwhile) fix to the problem, and that it is actually pretty common. Doesn't stop it from being annoying as all hell sometimes, even after all these years, I am not completely used to it... I wish it would just go away :(.

Those are just some of my weird quirks about my body, I guess if that's the worst I have to complain about, I shouldn't even bother considering there are parapalegics and quadrapalegics and palsied people who have to live with life changing differences in their bodies.

Still... I figure if I heard some other (minor) quirks with peoples bodies, I wouldn't feel so weird. So... uhhh.... tell me yours. Or don't, whatever.
Jaw thing, roll your tounge, so the bottom is on the roof of your mouth, maintaing this position with your tounge, open and shut your mouth a few times. You've probably started biting wrong. I did, had the problem for years, till the dentist refered me to a doctor, who told me to do that and the problem went away after I learnt to bite further forward.

I can wiggle my ears (without the use of hands, smart-arse's).

Also, everything on my left side is bigger, despite the fact I'm exclusively right sided for everything. Although I think with the stomach and arms it's due to me over-compensating to the left side when I exercise, but the difference is still weird.
