I bought Fallout and Fallout 2 a year or so ago but couldn't really get into them. I find this shameful because while I thought they were a lot better than Fallout 3 in many ways, I just couldn't get into the turn based combat at all. Ironically, I've actually beaten Fallout 3 which is only slightly less mediocre a game than Oblivion was.

Also, I'm not really ashamed of this, but others seem to think I should be: I haven't enjoyed a Bioware game yet. I've played through almost all of KOTOR and all of Mass Effect and they were both dull and predictable with boring combat. I laugh whenever I see KOTOR lauded for its big twist because anyone who couldn't see it coming within the first hour was asleep at the wheel.

I couldn't get through Morrowind. Oblivion was my first Elder Scrolls game, and the dated graphics and vastly different look was so jarring that I just couldn't adjust. Its been sitting here next to my computer for 5 years now. I'll get around to playing it, I swear.

I haven't finished Oblivion, I haven't finished DA:O but I have finished DA2, I haven't finished pokemon Platinum, I don't believe I've ever gotten a platinum trophy, I don't EV train in Pokemon, I've only played two LoZ games, I suffer from Diablo-syndrome*, I don't watch animes, I like Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, and I didn't enjoy the Witcher.

*where you build up a class, but because there isn't a readily available option for respec'ing I start a new game because I want to try a different strategy. It is also the reason I never finished DA:O

I like playing realistic FPS shooters, while I hate most indie games with the notable exception of Minecraft. Gaming highbrow I am not.

I never completed the Warrior or Mage guilds in Oblivion. I still have well over 100 hours of time spent doing other things, and all of the other achievements.
I thought I was the only one.

Never played any of the games on the Orange Box because I want to play Half-life 1 before I get it, but I can't find that ANYWHERE! I've also played Silent 1,3,5, and shattered memories but I can't find 2 EITHER! >.<
I also can't play Minecraft because of my CRAPPY PC!

Never beat Chrono Trigger (and I really like the game, I have the awesome DS version), never beat Link to the Past, I just plain dislike FF6 (that's not really shameful for me though LOL), and I'm too scared to play the first Resident Evil, that includes Director's Cut as well as REmake

I own about 10 games on Steam I haven't installed yet and probably never will.

I honestly believe that Twilight Princess is better than Ocarina of Time, and every time I bring this up, I get told that my opinion is wrong from people whose glasses are more rosy than the garden in the White House. Well, excuuuuuuuse me, Princess, but I didn't play it back when it was new, so how do you expect me to judge it by the standards of back then, or claim that it shouldn't be judged by today's standards? Unskippable exposition dumps that say things we already know were just as annoying then as they are now, too!

[/rant]

In fact, I don't have any gaming nostalgia at all. Even Lego Racers, the first game I ever played, doesn't evoke any feelings of 'Hey, I remember this!', partly because I can't run it any more, it's so old.

My first actual game for an actual gaming platform was licensed. And it sucked.

I re-bought Mario Kart Wii a few months after I traded it in.

Edit: No Minecraft, and I don't ever intend to buy it, simply because I refuse to give into the hype, even if Extra Credits says it's good. Same thing goes for Recettear, without the bit about EC.

I bought smackdown vs raw 2009 over mass effect 2
and I still think to this day that a game based on the blues brothers or disneyworld would be cool...

A Blues Brothers game could be awesome.

OT I have never finished Wind Waker
I am sure there was a Blues Brothers game because I think I had it or at least played it.

20 years damn it

me neither dude. Infact, the only Sonic game that i've been able to beat (I believe me I have practically every sonic game made) is Sonic and the Black Knight, which I needed help with from a friend on this one stupidly cheap boss.

snapped it in half? achievement unlocked.

Oh and I bought Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing for the wii, got it for a friend for his birthday (also for the wii) played it some with him online, then sold it and bought it for the PS3 (still have the ps3 copy) and am deeply considering getting the $6 port of the game for the Ipad(the ipad is the family ipad).

Basically you move around left right up and down and try not to hit obstacles the whole game. Looked almost as bad as the star wars Kinect game.
