What's the shortest amount of time you've spent with a game you rented?
What game was it?

I spent about an hour playing Bionic Commando before putting it back in the envelope and sending it back. Normally I'll play through the campaign but that was just painful.
It's too bad, the original BC was one of my favorite nes games.

mostly just buy it.

[sub]I didn't actually realise that I've never rented a game before now...[/sub]

I rented Vexx for about 10 minutes once. The disc was buggered, so I just took it back.
If we're going on gamelpay, probably House of the Dead: Overkill. I played the first level and just got bored.

Rented Haze, played it for thirty minutes. Then walked back down to the video store to replace it for a better game.

I rented Fight Club for PS2 (I believe) and played through one or two fights, all of five-six minuets and it was so poorly put together that I switched it off and put it back in the box to go back to Block Buster (this was way back before NetFlix or GameFly.
Really pissed me off since I had used my own money, back when I was young enough to get an allowance, to rent it and it sucked majorly

We can't rent games here.
Wow, really?
Where and why not?
Latvia. We just don't have that kind of thing for games. But the games are cheap. 6-20 lati (that's something like 10-30 $). I don't know why.

Perfect Dark 64. Don't get me wrong. It's an awesome game. It just that the copy I rented didn't work. I called the video store multiple times until the clerk just hanged up at us.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Lasted an hour before it went back. I can accept alot from poor design but getting constantly raped because the developers insist I look at the pretty wall instead of the horde of enemies is not fun.

Raven Squad - 4 hours (becaue that is how long it took me to beat)

Terminator Salvation - see Raven Squad

Thankfully I am not paying for these games directly so it doesn't bother me.

Um... wow. I can't think of anything I've rented that wasn't on the Genesis. So the shortest time I've rented a game would be 3 days.

Uhhh...

Def Jam vendetta...

I beat it in a few hours and never had a reason to play it again. Also, it was for my friend's PS2, so it's not like I was gonna buy a game for a system I didn't actually own.

Well its not a rent, but I bought Super Paper Mario and then sold it after about 5 minutes of playing it because it was so mind-numbingly boring.

Victorious Boxers for Wii, the controls were completely unusable. Came out of the rental sleeve and went back in after less than 10 minutes.

A bad control scheme is one thing, but the controls themselves /weren't working/. How could they release such a thing in good conscience?
