I would choose either a lightsaber or two hidden blades, because both are somewhat easy to hide and easy to carry.
Yea but wait until you bump into something while having your light saber holstered... SVHVHH.... and you will be left half a man.

Crampons.

The closest I can get to attaching pure pain to the soles of my feet.

Or rocket boots.
THEY'RE SHOES!?!?

My signature melee weapon would be either be a lazer coated Katana that can slow down time when I want it too, and gets stronger and more powerful the most enemies it kills. Or a giant destruction robot that I can sit inside and move around, that has rocket and Gatling gun attachments that can shoot bullets, lazers, shrapnel or bees. The lazers are default because they are accumulated over time. It also comes with a giant battle ax that can shake the foundations of buildings when I slam it on the ground.

A Terry's Chocolate Orange.

I'd shout "don't tap it, WHACK IT!" before using the chocolate orange to hammer someone off their feet.

And then I'd unwrap and eat it.

Something like Zero-suit samus's pistol-whip but grittier and brutal.

Or maybe the dagger of time?

Heck, a chainsword would be awesome awell.

My signature melee weapon would have to be one of my enemies.

A bunch of miscreants in your way? Grab one of them and use him/her to beat the others into a pulp. It's economical and so long as you have enemies, you've got a supply of weapons.

Hm. Chainsword would be my first choice even if I'm not a huge fan of W40k, it's still a badass melee weapon. Second choice would probably be a sledgehammer, preferably of the ban variety.

I would probably use a katana and be a master of Iaijutsu (the art of drawing the Japanese sword) but most of the time I would use my sword all wild kinda like Mugen from Samurai Champloo but when things get tough I'll switch to the more refined classical style of Iaijutsu to destroy my opponents with lighting fast strikes and counters. The name of my katana would be Onigumo

Either a wooden katana (symbolizing my nature of not wanting to bring harm to anyone) if I'm up against humans.

Or, if I'm in a fantasy setting against monsters, I want my Partizan (long staff with a bladeon the end). It's got good reach, it's sharp, and I can keep enemies at a nice safe distance!

Either a Halberd / naginata or an indestructible, blunt pole. Which has a small clicking mechanism which would allow to blades to come out of the ends, in case blunt force won't do it. That would be awesome...

Swords, hands down.

A standard Celtic sword is good, and I like rapiers, but I would also try my luck with a katana.

A decently crafted Kreigsmesser.

If you don't know what that is, look it up.
I prefer an Epee myself for fencing. (blade, not foil)

But if my imagination is the limit: A dual-bladed sword made of lava on one side and absolute zero cold ice on the other.

I might of already said this but a sword.

A medieval British one or a katana...

I would add somethings so I could make them both lightning swords. (With rubber handle.)

A still-pole-mounted stop sign. Yeah my game probably wouldn't be the most serious game in the world, but not totally silly either.
