Reconing Dath in SWG, looking for the imperial prison, when the 4 of us came across Darth Vader. The Dev made short order of us. It was a quick trip to the clone room.

The sound of the breather right before the sound of the light saber.

Priceless

Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time - when you step out of the Temple of Time after the time skip.

You saw the world as a boy - and it had it's share of trouble - but it was peaceful. When you see what kind of hell the world has fallen to under Ganondorf's rule, I dunno. I just felt really angry. Like I wanted to take it back no matter what. The worst part is you're partially responsible for him coming to power in the first place.

Few games have really placed that sense of weight on me since then. I may be exaggerating, but it just sort've felt like something was telling me "look at what happened to the world, since you weren't there to protect it?"

Pokemon, finally catching something legendary. Nowadays it means bugger all, but when you're nine years old playing pokemon red on the gameboy, and you catch that weird blue bird underground, it defines your nerdy childhood.

Fighting Vergil in the original (harder) DMC3 on Dante Must Die mode. Most epic, difficult and frantic hour of gaming-boss ever concieved.

Nuking Megaton in Fallout 3. I wouldn't do it in any of my more serious play-throughs but when you're doing a 'just-for-kicks' run, it's quite a sight.

Any part of the action in the Half Life 2 series,
COD4 completing any (and all) missions on Veteran
MW2 running over the rooftops in Favela then to jump on a rope ladder of a helecopter. Just so I don't get shot.

The end and the bit near the end of Condemned 1 I think. I ran out of breath so many times I had to buy an oxygen tank to finish the last level.
Where you

are chasing SKX around the abandoned house was exhilirating as well, that last boss was a ***** to kill.

OP: When Sander Cohen loses his marbles in BioShock and plays Waltz of the Flowers while Splicers try to murder your ass, it was most awesome.

Playing the beginning of the female city elf story in Dragon Age Origins after watching my best friend play through the male one. It made me realize how amazing the game really is, even if my character's husband-to-be was painfully obviously gay.

Yeah, I know it's recent, but it was some of the most fun I've ever had.

And, the MOST fun I've ever had playing a game in my life is, surprisingly, the fight against Zexion in KH Re:CoM, when you're playing as Riku. I lost like ten times and had endless amounts of fun every single time. Usually I'd be frustrated or angry, but I was just giggling and happy every time. It was very strange. Before that, I'd never really had FUN playing a game. As a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever had that much genuine fun PERIOD.

^ Seconded Ocarina of Time's time skip. The best part is that there's no sign until you leave the zombie-infested marketplace ruins that the entire world is not that screwed up. I actually went to Ganondorf's Castle first thing... 'You maniac! You blew it up! Damn you! Damn you to hell!' Naturally I was in an adrenaline rush for both of the Ganondorf fights.

Several of Kingdom Hearts 2's bosses, beacause the first time you have no idea when the Reaction commands are going to strike, or what insane action sequence they'll trigger. Pete vs. Pete in Timeless River was particularly over-the-top. Then of course, there's Xemnas... All five forms of him.

Another quite awesome moment.

I never beat that game on my own, but I went over to my friend's house (Who had all the best equipment, spells, and summons) and finally got to beat it. However, his overpowered stuff took all sense of achievment out of it. :(

Very sad ending, a good ending, but sad.

Beating the Strider battle in Half-Life Episode 2. I hated that fight when I'm playing it, but as soon as I finished it I thought to myself that it wasn't so bad and it would be fun to try again.

-Most boss fights in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
-"All Ghillied Up" In CoD4 (Sniper level)
-Exiting the vault in Fallout 3
-Most of Batman: Arkam Asylum
-Gaining the ability to send people flying with a single punch in Farcry 1
-Almost all of The Orange Box

But my favorite:
-Meeting Andrew Ryan in Bioshock

Any time I was able to get vengence for a character I liked that got killed.
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Fallout 3: Final mission, killing countless Enclave for my dad.
GTA4: Killing Dimitri to avenge Roman, or that girl I was dating, I forget her name, but she was special!
Fable 2: Lucifer killed my dog! He deserved anything he got. Also, screw everyone else, I brought my dog back to life, if they don't like it, why don't they go save the world?

Playing AoE II as the Turks and sending out my entire army to push back the Spaniards as they were attacking one of my weaker allies. I slaughtered their army, pushed them back to their fort, and blew their settlement to hell.

I lost like, 4/5ths of my army though in the process D:

Bosses of Shadow of the Colossus

Pretty much all of Majora's Mask

Fighting Liquid Ocelot on top of Outer Haven.

And the best feeling I've ever had from playing a game:

[spoiler/]Finally beating Super Ghouls and Ghosts after almost 13 years[/spoiler]
