Title says it all. How would your Oblivion character stand up against your shouting overlord?

EDIT: Morrowind character can be included as well.

Well, in oblivion I specialized in heavy armor, alteration and restoration, with endurance being my leading stat.

He would not die, for any reason, ever.

In Skyrim, defensive builds are a smidge less OP, So I went with destruction this time around.

needless to say, throwing fire at a person leading with restoration and alteration is like throwing a pebble at a monastery.

My oblivion character never existed, since the only Elder Scrolls Game i'd played before this one was Morrowind.

my oblivion character is a dark elf with heavy armor magic and blocking ,but my skyrim guy is heavy armor and a battle axe.
with the new you are what you play you cant really do crazy shit because it has to work you cant just add tons of points to endurance and intelligence while using swords until the skill gets good enough to go crazy

Depends, i had 2 oblivion chars, one i put about 100 hrs into doing ALL the side stuff as a sneaky khajit focused entirely on starting with harsh poison sneak attacks, illusion, and stabbing, then i had a paladin (heavy armor, smithing, restoration, 1 handed, blocking) that i just ran thru the storyline in under 10 hrs. my main in skyrim is heavy armor, 1 handed, destruction/restoration, smithing and enchanting, im not sure who would win, lol

My Skyrim character is a dual-dagger wielding High Elf. My Oblivion character could turn invisible and stealth kill people, could weave in and out of range hitting enemies with the tip of her 2h sword and essentially be untouchable, and could chain paralyse an enemy for up to 10 seconds of incapacitation. But these factors count for nought against the main combat definer in both Skyrim and Oblivion.

The one who runs out of healing pots first would lose.

My best Oblivion Character has 100pc chameleon and a really nice bow.

My best Skyrim character is in legendary double enchanted deadric armor.

I think the Oblivion character could just jump up a rock and win since the Skyrim character couldn't get to him. Although the skyrim character would just run away then and get out of the Oblivion characters range. Huh.

Since both characters are stealth archers, I really have to wonder if they'd even be able to find each other.

Oblivion character was pretty much perfect. Caster with 100 in all core skills and a complete set of Glass enchanted with speed, whereas my Skyrim character is melee focused with far fewer perfect skills. If Skyrim could catch and pin Oblivion in a corner he might have some small chance, but realistically even then his odds wouldn't be great given that Oblivion had 35% reflect damage and an absurd amount of DPS.

Mine is similar, it can get boring looting chests while the enemies bash away at you then loot there corpses when you run out of chests. but its fun to kill anything without attacking ever, just use a heal spell and your good.

my skyrim character wouldnt stand a chance....

Well in time I'm pretty sure my Skyrim character will trump my Oblivion character.

At the moment, I doubt he would win. As my Oblivion character has the best heavy armor, as 100 in swords, shields, and destruction.

My Oblivion character has a set of three custom spells that lets her walk up to an enemy invisibly; give them massive weaknesses and herself a huge magicka buff on touch, refreshing invisibility, and then follow up with a magical punch. A 1000 or so damage (not including weakness multipliers that usually take this up to 3000) magical punch. That punch is one of her mid-strength destruction spells. The real big ones have a base magicka cost of just over 5000.

My Skyrim character can shout at people.

Being Dovahkiin is so over-rated.

Depends on the situation. My Oblivion guy was a stealth archer so if he got the drop on the Skyrim character, that guy is toast. My Skyrim is Battle Mage beast so if he saw the Oblivion character coming he'd nuke him and then finish him off with a dual wield power attack.

You want to find out? Attack Sheogorath, and see how well you do. :p
Oblivion character went around in enchanted ebony armour, with 95 chameleon, 100 sneak, and maxed out heavy armor, block, and blade. He was also a Daedric God.

My Skyrim character, for all his double enchanted daedric armour and super OP two swords, wouldn't have a chance.

There's an interesting thought though. I wonder if I could use the creation kit to recreate my Oblivion character, and then...

Morrowind Character: My skills were mainly spear, light armor, and marksman. I was a killing machine that demolished everything and remained untouched. Not even the mighty Dagoth Ur could stop me!

Oblivion Character: I had honed my skills so well as a Breton mage (100 Destruction, Alteration, and Conjuration] that I made a spell called "Utter Obliteration" that cost so much mana, I needed a little more than 400 points to cast it. (I had magically enhanced equipment so I could use it). It did the following:
100% Weakness to Fire
100% Weakness to Frost
100% Weakness to Lightning
25 Fire damage in 50ft. of Target for 5 secs
25 Frost damage in 50ft. of Target for 5 secs
25 Lightning damage in 50ft. of Target for 5 secs

Let's just say Mankar didn't know what was coming to him.

Skyrim:
I'm a wood elf carrying around a fire spell and axe that got impaled by some swinging pedulums

Well seeing as my oblivion character had 100% camouflage... Dovahkiin would have a rather tough time hitting him. Though if he did manage to poor old oblivion me would die in two hits from that battleaxe.

Or Fus-Ro-Dah him off of the rock.

OT: It's hard to say which one of mine would win. They're both very similar, because they're both Imperials use one-handed weapons and a shield, and are high in speech, lockpick, and melee combat. The differences are my Skyrim character uses Heavy armor while my Oblivion character wore light armor, and my skyrim character uses destruction and restoration spells while my oblivion character used bows. Honestly, I think my Oblivion character would win, because he moves and hits faster, but the shouts would probably trip him up quite a bit.

My Morrowind character would trump both of them. 'Nuff said.

Well, I'll go with my stealth builds from all three games.

My Oblivion character would be a jumpy bastard who could just float around thanks to ridiculous Acrobatics, same with my Morrowind character. However, my Oblivion character has better armor and weapons...so they would probably win. My character in Skyrim can't jump super high, or move as fast as either of my previous characters, so they would just get murdered pretty much instantly.
