Mjoll the Lioness. Face paint, likes the sword and board, and really loves roaming around Skyrim - what's not to like? Paired her with my balls-to-the-wall 2-Hander Nord. Plus, once she had a Daedric weapon with double damage enchants, she was about 20% as efficient as my PC at killing things.

If only Bethesda had spent any serious amount of time AT ALL on the interactions, I think I would've enjoyed it more. Wasn't terribly keen on the, "You're wearing an Amulet of Mara? Let's get married! Wait, who are you?" Yeah, I did retrieve her sword, but I purposefully held off on the actual marriage until it felt like there'd been some time spent together.

I married Breyla (Dark Elf girl at the Mage's College) on my Argonian Conjurer/Thief playthrough, and Farkas on my Khajiit Warrior/Smith playthrough. Both of them I thoroughly liked.

Raj prefers to adventure alone when Wife Mjoll forces him into COLD, HARSH, UNFORGIVING weather to collect meager piles of jewels from the draugr. Is usually good time to take Skooma.

But sometimes she follows. Cannot stop her. "Making sure you not miss anything good!" she says, "If you die i want to take what you were carrying!" she says.

"Wish you were not so loud when you sex with Farkas!" I say back. She tries to hide it. Raj knows she cheats! So sleep around with many women as payback. Ysolda much better in bed anyway, and her not complain every time Raj takes moonsugar! Should marry her instead!

But Wife Mjoll would skin me and use hide as welcome mat if she knew i thought like this. Just going to hide in Temple of Dibella for now. Women there really know how touch a man! He he he...

Do they have homosexual romances in Skyrim too ? Or are they still lagging behind Biowhore in that area ?
Yeah they do... on my first playthrough I had a female character and she married Lydia...

So yeah they do for females. Not sure about males but they should do

I went with Ysdola.
Originally wanted to go with Lydia but got a glitch that made it impossible.
Oh well. Hopefully my second playthrough will yield better results. :3

So, who did you choose to marry, and why?
Sylgia.

Because i like such women and she has nice voice too.
Also i felt a little like hero taking her from this mine and introducing to "the big city life".

Later on i make her tag along and it was three of us - Dragon's Bane, Lydia nad Sylgia roaming harsh countryside of the land of true Nords. :)

No one yet, but I'm thinking of having my character propose to Mjoll the Lioness, who is his current companion. They have quite a bit in common, both being career adventurers with strict moral compasses, so it seems like they would make a decent couple. My character's a Khajiit, though, so I'm not sure whether to find that sort of inter-species romance weird or heartwarming. Either way, you've got to wonder why Bethesda didn't include any marriageable Khajiit characters.

I married no one, my constant companion was instead

[HEADING=1]Volendrung.[/HEADING]

This was due to the fact that my character was the sensitive type who didn't want to subject a woman to the harsh life of the of a warrior... what, its called roll playing.

Women of Skyrim aren't that fragile you know. ;)

Farkas was my follower through most of the game but I ditchd him.

I had a rather frightening experience with Athis..

My only two companions in Skyrim, is my horse and my war dog, Vigilance. They don't have much to say which is perfect.
Well, there's an image that will haunt me. Thanks. :\
I'm not quite sure why? Not every companion has to result in a sexual relationship if that is what your referring to?
Yeah, but this was a thread about who did you marry, not who did you keep around.

Ysolda, because I don't know, the others doesn't seem like very... attractive? Aela is pretty, but I really don't like her face tattoo.

Also, after I married her I am pleasantly surprised by her "don't give a fuck" attitude during "The Hangover" quest (just like the horses).

I find ALL of your responses to these skyrim threads straight out hilarious :D! You should really make some fanfic or short story about Raj lol.

On topic, I married Ysolda. My one complaint is that the NPC's seem a little shallow so it felt like it didn't really matter who I married. I am sure once the creation kit is out though someone will make an epic follower/companion. They always do.

And when they do.... :D

True, I'm seeing a lack in a few dialog options like "I love you." or "let's go to bed."No, the most romantic thing I can say is, "Can I have some money." It's a serious problem when your marriage mechanic loses to Fable.

Kadjb is an honourable woman warrior. She will not suffer the vices of men! Which is why she has werewolf sex. Every night.

(I actually haven't bothered with marriage but if I do, it'll probably be with the huntress and even then purely for money)

You can marry anyone at all regardless of age, race, or gender.

Except children. Make of that what you will.

OT: I never married anyone on my first chracter, being a sneaky assassin, as I would've had no use for them...

And on my second character, I'm going to marry Aela as soon as I can get on Skyrim :D
