1)Running right into a enemy
2)Moving all the time,even when I'm shooting someone with a long-ranged weapon
3)Un-scoping after every shot when I'm a sniper

In RTS I rarely ever attack first, I'll always wait for someone to attack me or get too close to my base/bases. Then I'll usually throw units at them even if they keep dying.

FPS- I'll start to focus more on one person (usually the one who kills me the most) and basically forget anyone else exists even if there's a flag carrier or another important person / thing to do.

playing online.

Seriously, I seem to always be matched up in Halo with the team who are already in a party and have their plans set out, and I'm the one person on my team playing solo, not with another person on the same Box.

And yes, 70% of the time, one of those duos will drop out, leaving me on a losing end on a five on three battle.

And don't try to work out a plan of attack. It will only lead to annoyance and ruin.

While we're on this subject, can someone explain the fun of griefing? why load a game to not play it?

Waaait. You set a trap then cast Megid...?

FOcast???
Nononononononono. In Episode 1+2 Battle Mode, all characters get traps, including my cute-as-buttons FOnewearl. A FOcaseal would be cool though.

I have this tendency to explore every single nook and cranny on the map, even if there's a timer or I'm under fire, I just have to see what's behind that last box/wall/barrel. On the other hand, this serves me very well in RPGs when I start obsessively checking each and every box, barrel, and pot in a town.

Not paying attention to the objective in FPS. I am at there base slaughtering them and then they plant the bomb my entire team loses. Also rushing campers front on. Also attempting to take on vehicles with a shitty pistol... over and over and over again.

i tend to pick shotguns, then forget to switch my weapons when having a fight more then 2 feet away.

i also tend to pick out the best players(even tough i'm only ok at best.).

I suck at Gears 2. Why? Because I can't stop suing the pistols. I'll use the pistols over any other weapon.

Haha, sorry. I never play Battle Mode, although (as a HUcast) it bothers me that in Battle Mode Cast's lose one of their biggest advantages...

In shooters, I have a tendency to seek cover and eliminate enemies from a distance, rather than resorting to run-and-gun tactics. This tendency is what made me die so many times in Call of Duty 4. It's also why I don't like the game.
You took the words right out of my mouth.

Dodging or blocking an attack in Tekken, and immediately going for a throw. Something I first noticed against a Lee player, who's B&B combo ended with him in Hitman stance (tech ducking). I fell for that twenty times in a frickin' row.

Instinctively using jumping attacks in Samurai Shodown. No air blocking...

Always, always, no matter what game I play, finishing an opponent off with style. Going for the Instant Kill in Guilty Gear, the Dramatic KO in CvS2, killing with melee in many FPSs, etc. When I can pull it off, it's awesome. When I can't, I'm totally open.

...okay, so I don't really consider that last one a flaw.

using high explosives at close range
reload after kills
lone-wolf fighting style

though its not a tendancy I rarely die in one-on-one fighting but two or three sometime give me trouble and campers (not snipers) attack me from behind or when Im fighting (or shortly after)with someone else.

It never crosses my mind to use any sort of special weapons or tools I might have. In halo, there's no point in me picking up the bubble shield, because in the heat of battle I'll never think to use it. In left 4 dead, I'll go almost the whole map without using my pipebomb/molotov unless my teammates remind me. I am getting better, though. I'll remember to use a molotov when a tank comes around and I'll think to throw my pipebomb when a boomer vomits or when I trigger a car alarm, but other than that, I never think to use them.
I have a very similar problem. At least in Counter-Strike I have the choice of not buying grenades, because there's no way I can think of using them when I need to.
