What stupid habits can you never seem to break out of?

Personally I have three, all multiplayer related:

1. I get too eager to get to the action and run around corners, usually straight into a ninja with a P90 or a sniper bullet to the head.

2. Every time I get a kill I automatically, habitually hit reload (even if my clip is almost full) and THEN sprint away after the reload animation finishes.

3. Revenge-rushing on campers. Instant double-humiliation.

In shooters, I have a tendency to seek cover and eliminate enemies from a distance, rather than resorting to run-and-gun tactics. This tendency is what made me die so many times in Call of Duty 4. It's also why I don't like the game.

Some habits for Multiplayer games are,
1.) I camp in a place easily accessible by your friendly neighborhood grenade.
2.) I always, always fire a ton of ammunition while running from the scene of a kill (even if the coast is clear.)

Some single player habits are, I enjoy speeding through levels of a game that either get me one of the following
Shot
Falling off a platform
Running into an Enemy Base
Mistiming a jump over lava or some other instant death device
Running into spikes (Grrrr, I still hate Mega Man X's spike abundance.)

Indeed. I always do it. Just can't keep my thumb off the X button... I will even do this when running around with an LMG

From Team Fortress 2 overload, I no longer aim for the head with a weapon. I aim for their feet.

I need to stop playing Soldier.

well, i have to focus on one location in order to do anything well. so i will often ignore everything except a particular task at hand. this often results in my team mates getting slaughtered while i'm not looking, leaving me on my own...

I love using a bayonet in any game... take a guess what I die trying to do in any game that has one in it.

I get obssessed with beating whatever game I start playing. I'm the type of guy that once I start playing a game I HAVE to burn through it. It's bad because it means I always miss things on my first playthrough.

Edit:Don't really get me killed literally but it kills me on the inside! haha

It never crosses my mind to use any sort of special weapons or tools I might have. In halo, there's no point in me picking up the bubble shield, because in the heat of battle I'll never think to use it. In left 4 dead, I'll go almost the whole map without using my pipebomb/molotov unless my teammates remind me. I am getting better, though. I'll remember to use a molotov when a tank comes around and I'll think to throw my pipebomb when a boomer vomits or when I trigger a car alarm, but other than that, I never think to use them.

I tend to have the computer on while i game, so while i type out this i am being Skull Fucked by some prick on Battlefield:1943 who decided to banzi charge me

Music also, i must have the perfect music for the scenario, so searchin for a good song turns my attention away from where it should be

In games like Cod4 i tend to disragard main weaponry for RPG'S and Pistols, not very smart but damn entertaining, who doesnt love RPS on Oddball?
