Your super power is some sort of energy projection...but what kind?

I would like to be able to shoot lightning out of my index finger. Or ice out of my hands. That would be nice.
Some sort of invisible ray that inflicts varying doses of pain upon the victim, ranging from minor annoyance to lethal. Quick win to any fight out there. Bonus points if you throw a punch at the same time you shoot the rays, to make it look like the other guy is a wuss.
Sound energy. Preferably out of my hands, as waves.
I've been thinking about this for a while; it would depend on how loud and frequent sound was that I could hear. That doesn't make sense, hang on....
Right, so depending on how loud stuff is near me, I can sort of absorb that sound energy and then turn it into a kinetic blast.
As an example, if a Helicopter is attacking me (As they do in Superhero films), I abosrb the immense sound and frequency of the spinning blades, temporarily queitening the area, before blasting it back as a sort of force of wind at the helicopter, causing it to spin out of control.
I think that'd be pretty badass.

Conversion of Energy would be my ability. Due to the laws of Energy that state that Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, my ability would be the conversion of existing energy into a different form.
Which basically means that I could simply take energy from the air and throw plasma, stick my hand in a electric socket and shoot flames from my other hand, or even take a direct impact from a car before walking away without a scratch because I directed all the energy/force from the impact into the ground.
However to be fair so that my power isn't some unbeatable concept, I'd only be able to transfer energy that is the same or more then what I am outputting. So if I got locked in some room and there wasn't energy to create plasma from the air, I'd pretty much be stuck unless I could get some source of energy to use to break free.
(Might not be entirely realistic or accurate, but it's a fictional power none the less)

I imagine with practice you could take the force inflicted upon yourself from a bullet or weapon and transfer it into heat or light, or channel a small earth tremor at your assailant. Or superheat the gun out of their hand.

Energy Projection? like, as in manipulating energy? as in manipulating THERMAL energy? as in, manipulating TEMPERATURE?!
I'd LOOOVE to have the ability to manipulate temperature! imagine the possiblities!

2. temperature = Kinetic energy (I took Chem 30), so I can increase the temperature of air or water under me and cause a quick, but massive earthquake!
3. Or simply enough, either melt someone to death or freeze all water molecules in a human's body, instantly killing him/her! you know, for easy assassinations!
