Your tell

Whether it be in talking to a girl you like, or getting a really good hand in a game of poker, sometimes you don't want people around you to know what your doing or feeling...
And alot of the time, you just really can't hide it that well

When playing card games and I get something good, I usually can't help but put a massive grin on my face, or fidget around in my seat, but I'm getting better at hiding it...

How can people tell when your lying, or hiding something from them?
Can you tell really well when a friend is lying by something completely obvious?

Or are you too good at hiding things from people?

So, whats you tell?

I joke that I got a good card, implying that it's merely a joke. Usually works.

As for girls, well, I don't think I have a sort of tick. I just try to be funny and all.

In poker I have 3 tells, 2 of which aren't real. And no one has worked out which they are yet.

And in the case of girls..well I'm just pretty bad at social interaction in general, so a lot of mumbling will occur.

When it comes to guys, I blush like crazy. I'm known to my friends as "Blushy McRed-face".

In poker, I just smile from happiness of a great hand but shake my head to make it look like a bad one. It is the only way to can confuse the other players.

Lying in real life? Can't do it. I can't handle guilt at all.

Yeah I'm going along the lines as every one else as well, I usually get some kind of a smirk or just can't help but smile in games and such...

As for the ladies, if I'm into them I usually get quite shy and try to be as funny as possible, but that's sort of how I try to make first impressions on any one so I suppose thats not just for the ladies, haha.

As for lying, apparently I have have some kind of a 'Lying voice' (Beefcakes! =@), so most of my friends know when I'm lying, it sucks, hehe.

After years of experience with my parents, I can say that I'm an amazing liar. I can make up believable excuses in a split second and keep a straight face all the way. But I can't really lie against people I actually care about. If I do lie against someone I really care about, I feel incredibly guilty, so I try to avoid it.My parents don't belong to that group, so lying to them is so easy.
As for poker, I also manage to keep a straight face, but I suck at the rest of the game.

The trick to lying I learned is that people can tell that I am lying but not what I'm lying about. Put out an obvious and forgivable lie and people tend to think that's the deception they detected.

That's a wonderfull trick isn't it? I only use it as a last resort, when a full lie simply isn't possible.

I'm an absolutely horrible liar. I'm incapable of telling an outright lie without looking like someone is standing behind me poking a knife into my kidneys.

When I'm nervous I tend to fiddle with whatever I have around my neck be it collar, necklace, whatever.

As far as i know, when i lie, i do not have a tell.

Practice makes perfect, and believe me, Ive had years of it.

My biggest tell is that I'll have my hand facing down if it's good. I just can't stop myself from doing it.

As for the women, well, nothing really comes to mind. I tend to remain stony faced around both friends (Who are all male) and people I don't know.

It helps if you convince people that you're a terrible liar first.

What I can't hide though it that I'm thinking of something funny. I always get a grin on my face.
Sometimes I even end up laughing out loud.

I have something called "Chronic Tick Syndrome" or something like that, and it means my face constantly twitches, it confuses the hell outta people. but i do blush allot, eve n though I'm a guy.

I talk a lot when I lie. I'm 16 so when I buy alcohol I talk to the person behind the counter about anything, they're usually too busy talking to ID me then.

Cards, if I have a good hand I'll usually mumble something like "Oh fer fuck's sake[/]" under my breath to make it look like I'm doing awfully. I do it when I have abad hand too just for confusion.
