Your theory of the future

well... since I've been an avid scifi watcher since I was little and consistently disappointed when landmark dates in movies come and go... and we get none of the hover boards, flying cars, holographic games, etc.

my guess of the future is this... it'll be just like now, but with inflation.

way to go progress...

All my friends say I'm crazy for my views on the future. All I can say is that I'm a dreamer...

I believe humans can build almost anything. In a million years who knows what we will have achieved!

One day we might be able to build stars and solar systems, build are own worlds. I say this to my friends and they think it's impossible and that I'm an idiot. But my theory is: 'go back to the start of the 20th Century and try to explain what the internet is, or how a computer works' and it's an insane concept (not quite as insane as building a world I know). In millions of years times when we have evolved into many different species who knows what will exist!

But if your talking more realistically or sooner (like 20-50 years) I have no idea! In all honesty I have no fucking idea! Maybe World of Warcraft Two will make it's own nation and maybe Twilight fans will make their own nation... and maybe there will be a nuclear war between the Team Edwards and Team Jacobs!! God, what a wonderful age we live in

*I hope with in the next ten years we see humankind reach mars and that the United Kingdom becomes way more intregrated with the European Union!

According to some scientists, the ice caps will melt, shut off a warm saltwater current in the northern Atlantic, and plunge us into an ice age.

According to other scientists, we will hit our population cap of 10-12 billion and then go way over to 16 billion, causing mass wars over resources.

According to optimists, we will all be happy and fat with robot slaves.

According to pessimists, we will all be slaves to the robots.

According to mainstream media, we will be attacked by zombies, aliens, or both, and most of us will die.

So nobody really has any idea. Personally, I hope for a high tech future, but without the whole robot uprising thing. Basically what they have going on in Star Wars.

... in the next 10 years, someone will create something, that will essentially kill of the Internet! Shocker, I know! No one has thought of that! (/sarcasm with some seriousness)

OT: The same as now, but with better computers, better graphics, more Electric and Hybrid Cars, and less oil.

As awesome as that sounds now, overall I don't know how completely plausible that would be, nor would it be more ideal
