Ever had too many new games than you had time to play? I know I get that way sometimes, with a full time job and uni its hard to keep up keep your social life on the radar AND scratch that gaming itch, but I just can't help grabbing a new game that's cheap or that I've been highly anticipating saying to myself "I'll play it eventually."
I have quite a few:
COD: Black Ops, Infamous, Disgaea 3, Luminous Arc 1 & 2, God of War 3 & The Ghost of Sparta, Blade Kitten, Amnesia : The Dark Descent, Alien Vs Predator, Mafia 2, Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale and Sam and Max S1 & S2.

So my fellow escapists, what games do you have on your to play pile?

My "to play" pile currently contains Heroes of Might and Magic 2 and 3, Left 4 Dead 2 and Bejeweled 2. Those are just the one's I've recently bought or acquired through some other legal means, but haven't tried yet. My "To Beat" pile goes back as far as I've been a gamer, and is actually spread out in several physical piles between my apartment at college and my actual house. I literally don't know how many games are on it, but I can tell you that it has games on it going back to the 80's, many of which I've owned since the early 90's.

Edit: I forgot, I also recently bought but did not install two games called CART Racing and FPS Golf, neither of which I actually intend to play; they were on the same disc as a copy of Caesar II which was going for $2 in a thrift shop. Money well spent, in my opinion.

Eh, I really don't have that many.

- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat (My computer can't run it. Maybe I should just save up for a new graphics card, that'll solve the problem...)
- Age of Empires III Collection (Yay for the 10 cent sale, but I'm a bit nervous because I suck at RTS's)
- Starcraft (Same as AoE3)
- Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Army Men II

you gotta upgrade bro, when you see the game on medium or higher, or even better with the atmosfear mod (holy shit, at least crysis-rivialling (IMO beating) environment visuals)
is your g-card below requirement? because you might also need RAM and cpu, in which case it might just be rebuilding time.
this said, I need to finish my current playthough of it, then try out RCOM mod.

Dead Space
STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl
STALKER Call of Pripyat
Trine
Red Faction 2
Red Faction Guerilla
Max Payne 2
Bully : Scholarship Edition
Far Cry (the first)
Liberty City Stories (although it is SO PC unfriendly... Especially the chopper controls)

Damn Steam sales... making me buy more than I can play. At least I was able to finish Metro 2033 (but then again once I began I could not stop myself, that game was awesome)

I just bought Bioshock, and pretty soon I'll play through it. I've had New Vegas since its release, and I plan to start playing it again when the next patch comes out on Xbox 360. I'll definitely buy Silent Hill 2 in a week if it's still at the game store. However, if I tried to play every good game that comes out, I'd be playing forever - since I play the shit out of a good game, sucking every minute of fun out of a title.

Black Ops Campaign
Fallout: NV
Dragon Age Origins
Halo Reach

Theres a lot more I should play, but these are the newish ones that I bought and have hardly touched. Black Ops Multiplayer too addictive... and now Cataclysm is only weeks away!

I don't have a "to play" pile. Every game I own has been played, beaten (often several times), and bored me to extremes. Well... some are still fun. I not only do not have a "to play" pile, but I don't even have a "want to buy" pile either since, having bought Mass Effect 1 and 2, I have effectively completely my games collection.

What I do have... is a "to watch" and "to read" collection. Those... make me want to cry for how big they are. ;'(

Can these games also be "to buy, then play"? If so, my list is:

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2
Fallout: New Vegas
Goldeneye 007 for the Wii
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Dead Space, Dead Rising 2, Day of Defeat

Dead Space is so unbelievably boring though so I may never get to that.
