Maybe they just don't want to name 10 devs they don;t have an opinion on?

I have 2 favorite devs, both of them I listed. All others I don't have a major opinion on, so I didn't want to list them

I have played more games than you "think".

Just because I only list 2 devs as my favorite doesn't mean I haven't games alot.

If I had to name the other 8, let me:

3. Square Enix: I am a huge JRPG fan, and FF13 is shaping up to be my GOTY.
4. Sony Santa Monica: The God Of War games feature extremely polished, extremely brutal gameplay that is also extremely fun.
5. Naughty Dog: Uncharted 1 + 2 both beautifully showcase what the PS3 can do, along with amazing set pieces and simple awesome online modes (in #2).
6. Nintendo: Fire Emblem is one of my favorite game series, and don't forget games in their catalog like Super Metriod (though under

Nintendo Research & Development 1

), Super Marion World, and Super Mario Bro's 3.
7. Ubisoft Montreal: I know the DRM-shit going on, but that doesn't stop me from loving Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, which gave me some of the greatest set-pieces I have ever seen.
8. Pandemic Studios: Destroy All Humans 2 was some of the greatest Co-op moments of my gaming life.
9. Free Radical: Timesplitters Future Perfect is simply excellent.
10. Kojima: If I were ever to point to a game that can hug emotions it would be Metal Gear Solid 3

Edit: If you don't post 10 names I won't count it. Partly because it fucks up the system and partly because I want to know what avid gamers think and if you can't rank 10 developers, you're not an avid gamer.

This will probably go badly, but I will atleast try. March Mayhem is nice and all, but I don't like the head-to-head thing and this is a way to see what small developers people like. So here's how this work. Everyone posts their top 10 list of their favorite video game developers of all time. It could be anyone. It has to be ranked. I'll give the 1st place developer 12 points, 2nd 10 points, 3rd 8 points, then 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. Just one more rule:

If you bash any developer in this thread your vote doesn't count. I feel I have to add this due to all the Zyngabashing that's going on. Take that elsewhere (preferrably away from this forum, it's getting annoying.

Lucas Arts (I love their games BEFORE they started milking the Star Wars franchise)
Bungie (I admit it, Halo WAS my first FPS, however I must say I kinda begin hating them, simply Halo is not really what it was, and they are only working for 360 exclusives, while I'm a PC gamer. That's why).
Croteam (Love their games, but somehow they couldn't fit into the list).
