Well, I guess I'm not so beat up about the way he looks as I am about his voice. I suppose I'll get used to it, but I just hate it when games completely change the looks of their main characters. Then again, maybe I'm just having unpleasant Spyro flashbacks...

Honestly, I guess this new look does fit in with the city better, and his voice isn't so much annoying as just different, but I just hate change, and this seems like a big one to me. As far as gameplay goes though, this definitely looks like an improvement over the original, and I still plan on getting the game. I'm just being nostalgic, I guess.

Ugh, that series crashed and burnt after Insomniac left it...
But anyway i agree with you on the gameplay thing, i can't wait to see what we'll be able to do with that big tuning fork like thing
and i think the voice change will add more depth to Cole's character, rather then just having a gravelly voiced character whos motives are as deep as a puddle of water...
