1. Morrowind
2. Dragon Age (both of them)
3. Saint's Row 2

Honorable mention goes to Phoenix Wright and Paper Mario. And probably a lot more that escape me right now...

1. Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
2. Knights of the Old Republic I/II (both of them are amazing in different ways)
3. Portal 2

Honorable mentions to Mask of the Betrayer and New Vegas. As glitchy as New Vegas is, it's still one of my favorite games.

Also, Warband kicks ass, nice choice.

Tough to limit to only 3.

Suikoden 2
Shining Force 2
Grandia

And since I was so limited, honourable mentions go to Phantasy Star IV and Final Fantasy Tactics.

3) Supreme Commander 1 and Total Annihilation (RTS games,PC)

2) Mass Effect 1 and 2 (RPTPS*,PC)

1) Gothic I (ERPG**,PC)

*=Role-Playing Third Person Shooter
**=European Role-Playing Game

Paired games are present due to indeciseon. -Puts on Aviators, crosses arms across chest- Deal with it.

Silliness aside...SupCom and TA make #3 because, although I love em to bits (even though I SUCK at them),the RTS genre was never my hat. Although those two in particular are fairly slow,I never really liked the RTS genre as a whole.

The (current as of May 6th 2011) Mass Effect franchise takes #2 due to being fast-paced,but not too fast, and making an honest effort to give everyone with a name some personality, and a MARVELLOUS story. (Except for that one part at the end of ME2 just before endgame. Railroading at it's worst)

And taking #1 is Gothic one. Why? AMAZING story. INCREDIBLE gameplay mechanic that had the potential to revolutionize combat in RPG's. PERFECT writing and humanization. Who cares about graphics when the writing is better than BioWare's (Yes,I said it!),gameplay is intuitive, yet fresh and new (it takes player skill to pull off the flashy combos!),and the environment and music just blew me away (Jeremy Soule,Kai Rosenkranz topped you. Have a consolation prize.). Yes,the learning curve is a VERY steep one (te beat without cheats,I had to watch a veteran LP it),but once mastered, the game will reward you richly. I'd reccomend you get this classic. Steam it if you want to play it. Gothic 2 with the expansion (Night of the Raven) takes the difficulty curve up to one hundred and eleven,so yeah...But very rewarding. My personal reccomandation would be to avoid Gothics 3 and 4.

-Looks at the above paragraphs- Well...That turned into a full blown review with playability opinion. Well,I stand by it. All five games are works of art in their own right,in my opinion. Play em if you can.

1. Oblivion
2. Legend of Mana
3. Bayonetta

The only really parts of my Top 10 that ARE NOT subject to change.

Skyrim has ZERO chance of knocking Oblivion off the top, btw. It can get Number 2, though.
What about Morrowind? :3

1. Persona 4 (cliche choice but it is GREAT and if you don't like it then ****************************************** you!)
2. Dragon Age II (Far, VERY far from perfect. Although it has good characters, a fun plot, and great combat.)
3. P3P (Persona 3 Portable, all the fun of Persona 3 except it doesn't have the original theme song. Also, no cutscenes and the fact that it is just an exact port with one major difference (character gender choice) may diminish the game in some people's eyes but this game is in a solid 3rd for me)

I hesitate to shove it anywhere on any list, as I haven't finished all of the questlines yet.

But sadly...it doesn't crack the top 10. Or Top 25.

It's perfectly good, but not so much to my tastes. I kinda dug the level scaling of Oblivion. And the fast travel. And the clear direction.

I'm pretty much immune to being immersed by Morrowind's charms, and annoyed by the things that enhance most players immersion.

I'm the exact opposite, I liked most of the stuff in Morrowind and couldn't stand a lot of Oblivion.

These are always fun. I'm going to make this easier on myself by cheating:

1. The Half Life series
2. The Deus Ex series
3. The Mass Effect series

See what I did there? Pathetic, I know. And so my head doesn't explode: Fallout series, Starcraft series, Diablo series, Metal Gear Solid series, Gran Turismo series, Portal series, Serious Sam series, Dragon Age: Origins, select Final Fantasy titles, God of War series, Tomb Raider, Max Payne, Sonic 2, 3, 4, Sonic and Knuckles, Zero Wing, Unreal Tournament series, Team Fortress Classic, Shinobi 3, original Pokemon, Super Mario Land 2, Metroid 2...... blaaaaaargh.

1: Mass Effect (Great story, fun RPG, good characters)
2: Saints row 2 (Fun gameplay and multiplayer, and a fun story (except where it gets disturbing))
3: S.T.A.L.K.E.R (Immersive gameplay, semi-solid story, creepy shit environments)

Honorable mentions
RIFT (A good WoW clone)
WoW (Do i need to)
Sins of a solar empire (love it)
Minecraft (Multiplayer, singleplayer sucks)
Lord of the rings total war (Its a rome total war mod and tons of fun)

1. Jade Empire
2. Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
3. Silent Hill 2

Although the #3 game changes pretty much every time you ask me. Unless Mass Effect 3 or Skyrim can split the atom and cure cancer Jade Empire is entrentched at #1.
