The list reads downward. The top is number five, and the bottom is number one.

Super Mario World - SNES/Super Famicom
Pros: Pinnacle of 16-bit platforming; fantastic level design; chocked full of secrets; lengthy.

Cons: Difficult (by today's standards); need for finding secrets to progress in the game hinders progression.

Perfect Dark - Nintendo 64
Pros: Unparalleled multiplayer mode in a console shooter that is still unmatched today; intricate campaign mode; semblance of a story; diverse catalog of weapons; one of the first games to use the concept of an alternate firing mode.

Cons: Very laggy at times; ridiculous difficulty on Perfect Agent setting; N64 controller not best suited to aiming.

Conker's Bad Fur Day - Nintendo 64
Pros: The most creative game ever made; genuinely hilarious; fantastic platforming and shooting gameplay; time and care put into multiplayer mode; excellent story; unparalleled voice acting; showcased the very best of N64 graphics.

Cons: Terrible camera interferes with gameplay at times; schizophrenic difficulty.

TIE: Metal Gear Solid - Playstation / Metal Gear Solid 4 - Playstation 3
Pros: The greatest story ever told; technologically advanced graphics; creative sneaking action; extremely well-developed and believable characters; paved the way for stealth-action games.

Cons: Sacrifices play time for cutscene viewing; dialogue too drawn out at times; plot can look confusing and half-baked to the casual observer

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Nintendo 64
Pros: Unparalleled gameplay experience; excellent story; perfectly designed dungeons; perfect soundtrack feels just right; interesting characters; excellent control; truly epic quest.

Cons: N/A.

1 - Bloody Roar: Hyper Beast Duel (PS1)
2 - Super Mario World (SNES)
3 - Black and White (PC)
4 - Red Alert 3 (PC)
5 - Half Life 2 (PC)

I'm not totally sure if that's the right order but I can't decide.

1 - Final Fantasy VII. Only game to ever make me cry
2 - MGS 1/3/4. Too close to call an all of them, wouldn't be fair to take up 3 spots
3 - Chrono Trigger. 2D RPG perfection.
4 - KOTOR. My only remaining original Xbox game was also my first
5 - FFVI. The pinnacle of the 2D FF games.

Honorable mentions: RE4, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Zelda OoT, SMB3, Metroid Prime
