1. The Mother Series: Never ever ever have I been so entertained by my least favorite genre.
2. Team Fortress 2: Despite the updates and multiplayer idiots, the charm will never go away.
3. Shock games: System Shock 2 and BioShock specifically. There was a challenge and underlying horror to them that made them such joyful experiences.
4. Portal: Should be up there, huh? If you don't know why this is in this list, you haven't played it.
5. Fallout 3: Okay, so it had its bad tendencies (Subway traps all over the damn place were never fun, as well as the voice acting sucking a big one), but the charm of 40s classic hits in contrast to a bleak world of death and despair was probably the most refreshing thing I've had.

1) Metal Gear Solid 4 (I liked MGS3 better, considering it was like being in a James Bond film as Snake, but I have no doubt that 4 was the better game overall)
2) Demon's Souls (Love it, great atmosphere and combat.)
3) Half Life 2. I don't think I need to enplane this.
4) Mercs. 1 Playground of Destruction. Most fun game I've ever played. Well made for it's time also.
5) Okami/Shadow of the Colossus/MOH: Frontline/ Ratchet and Clank Going Commando. I can't really choose between these.
