Like I always say, it's probably done before, but the forum is too big to look through. Anyway, I decided to put up my list of top 5 games, feel free to put up your own.
1. Final Fantasy VII (excellent giant story, good gameplay, fun side quests, great dialogue and a big epic world to explore)
2. Metroid Prime (I love the Metroid series, it's an previously unused view on FPS, and is basically fun and innovative in every way, and it has no downsides)
3. Guitar Hero III (fun at parties and when you have a friend over, and it's a great tracklist that I kept going through several times)
4. Gears of War 2 (beautiful graphics, cool weapons, and something else than WW2 or the possible WW3)
5. Kingdom Hearts II (Silly, yet fun story, the fighting system is cool and gives the feeling that you're an acrobatic warrior, the worlds are childish and brightly colored, and the game is generally great fun)
Games that were close to the list include God of War, possibly Condemned when I've played it, Tales of Symphonia (was close with the good story, but then remembered that the gameplay is generally shitty and some of the voice actors over-dramatic and pathetic) and I didn't include my favorite retro games, cause they're too bloody many and are hard to decide which are the best of them, but a few honourable mentions of the retro games would be Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart 64, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid and Zelda: A Link to The Past.
