Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnston, the song is one big rocking guitar solo.
Cantcha Say you Believe in Me by Boston, their guitars also sound so... regal.
And In Your Park by the Scorpions, I have no idea what the lyrics of the song are about, but the squealing guitar riffs and solo more than make up for it.
Well, let's think about that one for a minute...
The 3 solos that stand out to me as the 3 best are...
Number 1 and 2 are obviously really technical, while number 3 isn't all that hard (or long for that matter).
But my GOD, does it sound good!
Green Grass and Tornado Of Souls trump it though in complete blow-my-face-away-ness.
The fast part in the solo of Tornado Of Souls gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME.
I am into a lot of music, but I don't really like guitar solos unless they feel like they fit into the song. I don't like solo's for the sake of solo's.
My favourite 3 guitar solos would have to be:
Jimi Hendrix - Bold As Love
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (Both of them, counted as one as they're from one song)
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird

Am I the only one who is a little concerned that the OP only put down two solos?
Anyway, onto the list.
3. The Hollow Years solo from Dream Theater's Live at Budokan cd, so ridiculously freaking awesome.
2. The clean solo at the start of Wonderful Slippery Thing by Guthrie Govan is immense, so smooth.
1. The whole of Waves by Guthrie Govan is quite possibly the greatest display of guitar playing ever. How did he come up with that melody? Perhaps we'll never know.
Cortez the killer - Neil Young
Cemetary Gates - Pantera
Fade to black - Metallica
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
Highway star - Deep Purple
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Master of puppets - Metallica
And so many more...
I'm not really a guitar fanatic but I've always loved the guitar solos in these songs. These are some of the only songs where the guitar can really provoke any emotion from me.
