Astronaut, imagine being among the privileged few to ever see the planet from spae (in person) and to feel true zero-gravity, just something that would amaze me and I think I have a mind capable of doing the tasks that would be required of me.

I also have a huge fascination with flight and would love to be able to fly so there's also that (Sort-of) with zero gravity.

Let's see. For my first one, I'll say "dancer." I loved dancing, and was actually quite good at it. Unfortunately, with my knee being rather spectacularly injured (as in, if I overwork it, my knee will no longer support any weight on it and completely collapse) this is no longer a feasible option, if it ever was. And secondly...

2) Writer: I'm actually convinced I might just be able to do this one (currently writing two stories), but it's a massive uphill struggle and a constant battle with my own imagination to reign it in, and with my attention span to keep myself focused.
Exactly this. I'm writing a hellton of stories at the moment, just because I have the sort of imagination that can't be confined to one plot at a time. But I've been told by quite a few people that I'm a great writer (and not all of them are trying to get on my good side- I've won quite a few writing contests in my time).
We should all form a club...Although my problem is majorly financial. I've got everything set in my head, it's just the time required for me to commit my thoughts to paper would mean me spending my days at a cafe or a coffee shop. And since I'm self-employed, I can't afford to take time off :/

I'd love to be a translator (which is what I'm going to school for).

I'd love to do travel photography and be paid to do it. I'd love to be a successful writer. I'd love to be in a successful band and be able to travel.

I have a lot of dream jobs... xD

I spent nearly 10 seconds trying to flick that insect off my monitor. And then I realized it was your avatar....

At some point in the future, I wish to be an author. I have one book finished and going through editing, I have various sketches that need linking and enough material for a few standalone novels and one novel series.

However, for now, I want tenure!

...

Yeah, fat chance, I know.

Not really sure this counts as a job; but I'd like to have the ownership rights to the Beatles.

Royalties, ftw. :3

Nothing to do with the government because they always have people angry at them no matter what they do.
Hmmm....it'd be cool to do demolition. I mean tear things down (blow things up on occasion too) and get paid for it to boot? Why not!?
That or a stuntman....

I was ninja'd by the first three posts (writer), so I'll come up with the first thing that actually came to mind when I saw this thread:
Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation].

I really want to go on tour with a band as their FOH engineer, that would be freaking awesome!

That, or work at Skywalker Ranch, that would be just as sweet. Playing with all those toys (the recording equipment I mean), I would be one happy camper!

Parking officer or the health inspector.

What could be better and more fun than punnishing people for their stupidity?
