Your Ultimate Game!

Here's a question I've wanted to ask for a long time, and now is perfect with such an active community on the Escapist. What would your perfect video game be? What features would it have? Is it a mix of current games(IE: Cod4/gears of war)? Would it be multiplayer?

First topic for me guys

Give me Shadow of the Colossus with up to date graphics and a tighter control scheme and I've got my perfect game.

Find some way to mesh Mount and Blade, Mass Effect series, Dragon age, and Saints row 2 into some sort of working mess, and that'll be it.

EDIT: And chuck in some Batman: AA and Assassin's creed series in there while you're at it.

I really liked Batman:aa as well.
Mine would be a mix of Call of Duty, Counter Strike, and Splinter Cell. Not sure how that would work but sounds cool.

Mix the Thief series with the Elder Scrolls games, that'd be interesting.

Give me an updated Kingdom Hearts, with new game plus, theater mode, boss endurance and the gummi ship more like ratchet and clank. Pretty much my perfect game right there. I love KH

A story as thoroughly complete as Bioshock's; where projectiles and melee weapons exist without either being overly powered, or without projectiles but with complex skill trees; use of magic in the story without it being the universal superglue to fix all the plot holes. Then make if fun. Graphics preferred.

Umm... think Saints Row's wackyness, and customization, GTA IV's realistic driving and physics, with GTA SA's variety. Oh, and throw in a map size about as big as Just Cause 2. Yeah, that pretty much covers it. I would never stop playing that game.

Agreed 100% I've played a fair amount of all of those games, and I think that would be the best game ever...

Take Just Cause 2. Throw in super-physics (realistic destruction, Euphoria animations, what have you). Add even more freedom of movement - jet boots, for starters. Add airstrikes. Then add insanity of Saint's Row 2. Throw in lots and lots of ridiculous content. Crank all elements of the game up to and over nine thousand. What we have now is fast-and-furious hyper-destructive planet-sized sandbox. Add fast soundtrack composed of jazz and rock. And as a final note, make Ratchet and Clank main characters, just 'cause i want them to be.


I'm not sure if it would be the Ultimate game, but it would be close.
