You are actually very good way better than the average artist.
Thanks, I appreciate that.

...

Did you say 20 years of Judo?

...

Thanks for the compliment, and please don't hurt me!

Seriously though, what rank have you achieved? I practiced Iaido for a while, which has a similar grading system, but never left second kyu, and I had to leave it behind after that.

I can do this:

and this:

I can draw quite well, write and produce music (some of which is actually decent), play the keyboard and the drums, speak in 4 languages (although I got a bit rusty at 2 of them due to a lack of opportunities to use them) and I'm a great cook (opinion verified by other people who dared to taste some of my cooking).

I'm also in really good shape.
I mean reeeealy good.
I'm a bit addicted to physical activity, I usually spend about 2-3 hours per day working out (I don't really know how to do things in moderation, I think I'm going to have to slow down or at the very least, take a short break every now and then).

Other than that (and maybe a few other things I forgot to mention) I'm fairly ordinary.

No problem I am actually at about the same level with my digital painting. That area where you are better than most almost as good as those professional artists just not quite yet (not to toot my own horn XD).

I only decided to go up to a shodan in Judo but mostly because I was really busy with schooling and didn't have the money nor the time to go through all the testing to get more degrees. I think if I was going through as often as I could I would be a 3rd or 4th degree by now. Lately I have been doing a lot of kickboxing with my dad because I feel like striking is a fun way to complement my grappling.

Iaido is really cool I have known a few people to try it. It is amazingly more technical than I think people give credit.

So are you working on aesthetics, or powerlifting? What kind of comp?
I am doing powerlifting with some bodybuilding elements for each muscle group because I just like the way those exercises feel. Furthermore they often require more reps than the powerlifting exercises and thus build endurance which cuts my recovery times.

Nice work! Very somber and dark, but with form- a fine line to walk.

As to Iaido, I only wish I had had a more martial arts heavy background coming into it- the discipline and sense of accomplishment that can come with years of training would have helped.

What do you mean? Like doing leg extensions to improve your squat recovery?

I have only heard about using assistance work to improve a weakness, or strengthen a prime mover. Have you felt a difference in your recovery?

I think that assistance work wouldn't be specific enough to give any meaningful recovery benefits. To the example, your quads might recover quick, but everything else would lag behind.

I don't have any unique skills, and neither do you. Unless we're talking about some kind of god given gift then no skill will be unique, and as said already in the OP, there will almost always be someone who skilled than you, so it's unlikely you're the best at whatever skill this is.

Hey, wait, I've just realized; perhaps my unique skill is to be really pedantic and grumpy ... wait, no, there are plenty more pedantic than me.

I can recognize things very easily. Aside from people ...
It's really weird. I easily forget things, I can't remember movie lines for shit, but if I watch a movie I saw years ago I recognize it and feel like it's a waste of time.
It's ... SUPER USELESS.

Also, I sometimes see different fonts or letters in green or blue. Also super random and useless.

I am going to be honest, I am completely derp when it comes to official terminology, I am almost entirely self-taught and do what feels right and try to ensure that there are no gaps in my muscle development.

To give you a basic breakdown of what a workout might look like for me:

I cycle through all of my muscle groups twice at high weight low reps and then twice low weight high reps.

For my high-weight low-rep leg day I would do squats first at 455lb for 5 reps 3 sets, then 485lb for 4 reps 3 sets, then lastly 505lb for 3 reps 2 sets. I then do zerker squats for 4 sets, 15-12-10-8 reps each sets, starting at 185lb and adding 20lb each set. I then do front squats with the same set pattern but lower weight due to bad knees. I then do 4 sets of leg extensions and leg curls with three plates for leg extensions and 2 for leg curls doing 15-12-10-8 reps each set and alternate without pausing for a break. To top it all off I then do leg presses on the machine, starting at 6 plates a side doing 15-12-10-8 reps a set and adding another plate each set.

For low-weight high-reps I only change my squats which are done starting at 335lb for 15 reps on the first set then doing 12-10-8-6 reps, adding 20 pounds each set.

To compare it to my chest the first cycle of high-weight low-reps I use barbells flat, decline, and incline before turning to dumbbell flys for low-weight high-reps on flat and incline. The second cycle of high-weight low-reps I do all of the aforementioned but with dumbbells for my flat, decline, and incline benches before doing flys for low-weight high-reps. I do 5 sets and 3-5 reps for each bench instead of 8 like for my squats as I do more overall exercises for my chest. Pretty much the same for low-weight high-reps but with 4 sets each bench and 15-12-10-8 reps. Sometimes I mix it up by using less weight but adding chains as those just kill anything you had. Lastly, I should mention that I also do back on the same day as chest, alternating muscle groups every single set without pause so chest, back, chest, back, chest, back, push, pull, etc.

I hope you could read through that mess of text. Overall it takes be about a week and a half to cycle through all of my muscle groups as I only go 4 times a week. The basic breakdown looks like this:

Day 1: Chest and Back.

Day 2: Lower back (deadlifts and tire-flips, etc)

Day 3: Shoulders.

Day 4: Legs.

Day 5: Arms (seldom do power-lifters have a dedicated arm day but I love the exercises)

In between any one of the days I will have a day dedicated to either abs (I hate using a belt so I make sure that they are really fricking powerful) and another day dedicated to Traps, Wrists, Thighs/Hips, and Calves. Many argue that I am too grab-bag with my workouts but they work, I am constantly getting stronger, have really good endurance (I also run 3 times a week, 3 miles each run) and have yet to experience a plateau, ever (but I was getting close until I created my eclectic mix of high and low rep exercises and cycles). So I am satisfied.

P.S. I turned 24 years old, 173cm/5-7, and 100KG/220lb.

Unique? The only thing i could count as that is probably a specific style of playing an acoustic guitar while using the body for percussion/rhythm while vocalising through songs. It's a tricky multi-task technique that really allows a lot of unique sounds but it allows more freedom for freeform improv with whatever timing i feel like changing to. No need for a band. Yet. Unfortunately it only is feasable on acoustic and electro-acoustic bodies, everytime i play a straight electric guitar, it feels like an important limb is missing and is quite frustrating. I keep trying to record videos but delete them everytime i see myself. A bit of a problem i need to get over badly. Other problems too, but i don't know. Haven't seen anyone else do whole songs like it before, so it is unique?
Edit: Oh wait, no i remember seeing one video of a person performing a whole song that way, ignore everything i said. Not unique.

Holy crap, that is a ton of volume. You are a machine. Don't you get burnt out from that much work?

But if it works for you, then keep at it! The results speak for themselves.

Nah, I never work the same muscle group twice in a week but never more than 2 weeks apart. That is the defining factor I feel, I never
work a sore muscle group so I am always fresh.

I'm really good at two things that I'd never have use for if I wasn't so chuffing lazy.

1) I've never had any issues when I've missed a deadline (usually because I couldn't be arsed to do the work) because I am bloody good at talking my way out of it, and a fucking good liar, and even better at making shit up on the spot when asked questions I haven't thought about.

Hell, I got an unconditional offer to my university because I'm so good at talking shit. Not talking shit as in lying, but as in just spouting buzzwords and essentially nonsense that I know the interviewers want to hear. And it's a good thing as well because I didn't get the grades I'd need for the usual conditional offer. I've managed to blag my way through 2 years of uni so far despite being completely unskilled at what I do.

2) When I do actually do the work (which I do for the actual project hand-ins on which I'm graded, what I tend to ignore are the stupid non-assessed shit), I always do it the night before it's due and still consistently get mid 2-1s.

Deep down I worry that someone on the course will notice that I have no idea what the fuck's going on half the time and have a serious talk with me, but I've managed to avoid it so far by applying my previously mentioned blagging and last-minute-pull-something-from-my-arse skills and keeping my head down.

EDIT: Just realised you said "Unique" skills. Bugger. Erm... I have a knack for really pissing people off just by using my usual idiosyncrasies. E.g:

Person: "I'm going to New York this year."
Me: "Good."
Person: "Oh, fuck off then, if you're gonna be a ****."
Me: "Alright."
Person: "Fuck's sake."

or

Person: "Have you dyed your hair? It looks blonder than normal."
Me: "No, it tends to do that in the summer, don't know why."
Person: "Jesus fucking Christ, I only asked, bite me head off next time!"
Me: "?"

I've been blessed with a good sense of direction. And can figure out where I am, and where I need to go by looking around for structures like highways that give away where is north, south, or east and west. Seems to be a skill that is lacking in the general population. As I'm continually asked for directions by people who get lost while holding smartphones in their hands, while working as a reserve cop. And I can tell a nice chunk of them aren't tourists. My sister is also someone I noticed who doesn't have a sense of direction. She's has thankfully gotten better learning her way around the local area in recent memory.

I may not be skilled enough to be building super, but I'm pretty handy with tools and electronics. I'm also a pretty good swimmer as a former trained lifeguard. But I'm not fast enough to be an olympic swimmer, or swim for miles in open waters without stopping. Lastly, I'm a well educated person on a variety of subjects; and been asked a few times why don't I become a professor. But I'm no rocket scientist, architect, engineer, or possess the knowledge to cure diseases and apply to NASA. I may however, be able to keep up with the complex talks of the former subjects. And have somewhat of an understanding of what a professional in said field is trying to do. As I'm not someone who's just going to give up trying to learn something so easily. Partly because I enjoy educating myself in my free time, Googling articles or YouTube videos on a particular subject.
