Your user name, why did you pick it?

Mine comes from a D&D Session back in 1997. We were getting started and I had everything but my name done, and I could not for the life of me think of anything. So I just started sounding stuff out: "Hoor... jera? No. Yert...ram? God no. ... Jour... Jour-all? Joreal? Eh, it's not like this thing is gonna be following me around for the rest of my life, why not."

Cut to 11 years, 3 D&D campaigns, 4 MMOs, 1 Battletech Clan (Widow Maker for the curious) where I became Khan for awhile and obtained a Bloodname (Conners for the curiouser), and a hell of a lot of TF2 games later. Still here. Joreal is, to me, a case of a name picking a person rather than the other way around. MAN I love this name.

And yeah, it is pronounced Jour-all. I was snooty back then. Still am.

You must be very humble not to mention the fact that you can also levitate.

Anyway, my username is both my gamertag and a lame pun. Win/win.

Stealthy/covert ops RP charachter on one of the first boards I was ever on (In fact thats where the Avy is from) I just liked it and used it for my name ever since. It's pretty much meant that he was good at what he did, as he was "harder to see than the shadow of the moon."

I was doing my electronics coursework at the time. A monostable circuit is a circuit with a single stable state before it deactivates

It just came to me out of nowhere when making an account on CGSociety[dot]org. Portmanteau of Anarchy and Archimedes spelled horribly, horribly wrong.

I pretty much lack originality and had just finished watching Batman Begins. I decided it was time for a new username so this is what I came up with.

I invented it out of nothing when I was six for a completely different purpose. It stuck.

I use it for everything - my website, my games, the various communities I'm a member at and my email.

'Panzer' in and of itself is the second nickname I've used for gaming. I like tanks, the Panzerkampfwagen series of tanks were very good, but Panzerkampfwagen is too much of a mouthful.

The 'Lord' part comes from the fact that I'm apparently not alone in my fondness for armoured killing machines, and my complete and total hatred of adding numbers to a name. If someone's beat you to your preferred one, at least be original in the modification.

"Jeremiah was a Bullfrog" - name that tune! I know what it is, but that's why I picked this name.

I used to have it in gamespy arcade before some other schmuck took the same name, and I had to rename myself... ever since then I've been unable to get Bullfrog as my username... so I'm Bullfrog1983 :p

There's a somewhat obscure rock song from the late 80s called "Kid Ego". I took it and added a "d". This is the first time I've used it as a user name. Before, I just used it for the name of a character in a couple of short stories I wrote last summer.
