first console was a PS1 (.5, really) together with Alien Trilogy. That was around 8 years after I got into gaming...

first and only console - ps2 that I got in 2007. don't play much. first game I played on it was FFX and it was an interesting experience. still can't get 'to zanarkand' out of my win mp playlist, iphone or head.

Hmm... just the family computer, the first game was a spelling game or something, the first non-educational one was Super Mario 64, which was still only a few years old, and my cousin managed to get an N64 emulator and put it on our computer.

The first console I owned was the Nintendo 64, which I got for a birthday. I remember getting a couple games including Tony Hawk Pro Skater, which I knew nothing about but fell in love with, and Super Smash Bros, which I was disapointed about because I wanted Super Mario 64, but I ended up loving that, too.

First game I can remember playing, though, was Super Mario 3 on the NES. Gotta love that raccoon suit...
