Growing up I wasn't allowed to have a console. Which always bugged me. So my first was a Playstation I bought when I was twelve and Final Fantasy Chronicles to go with it.

That was my first handheld, Christmas 1998.

My first console was a Philips CD-i with The Magician's Apprentice. Before anybody feels sorry for me, I am the one person on Earth that thought the CD-i was awesome. :|

OT: My first console was either a PSx with frogger or PS2 with Quake 3: Revolution. I always liked Quake better than all the games the other kids were playing.

My parents' system(cuz they made it VERY clear it wasn't mine) was the Sega Genesis with Sonic 2. My own console that I bought with my own money: a platinum Gamecube with both Wind Waker and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. Which is why I'm stoked for the respective sequel and remake of those titles. Hope NFS comes to the Wii just so I can smash racers with my cop Lamborghini with the good ol' GC controller again.
