the original Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt on the NES, just a shame you couldn't shoot that smug dog!!
that frickin dog...

Mine was Super Mario Bros for NES as well. However, I was so young when my older brother told me not to touch the goombas or I'll die. I immediately dropped the control and refused to play the game for fear of my life. It took him the better part of a week to explain to me what he meant and get me to play again.
Keep in mind this was like 3 days after the first funeral I ever attended.

The very 1st game I ever played was when I was like 6 or something, Pinball on my Atari 2600, which I still have and still works. (Shut up I'm only 18 :p)

Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers when I was three years old. Still the best game ever.
Duck Hunt when I was four. I'm told I was actually able to shoot the ducks every once in a while. My grandpa, an ex-sniper from way back when, apparently claimed that I was a sniper in training, to which my mom nearly kicked him out of the house.

Good memories.

I forget what games, but I recall that when I three, we got an atari 5200 for Christmas and three games for it. I all remeber is that it broke very easily and that the following year we got an NES deluxe which came with two controllers, a zapper, a power pad, and a cartage with three games on it, Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, and Track and Field.

Space Armada (a Space Invaders clone) for the original Intellivision (The one with fake plastic wood paneling on it.)

Threads like this make me feel like I'm too old to be spending my time on threads like this.

My first games were Mortal Kombat for the Sega Genesis and definitely Duck Hunt. (I still wanna shoot the damn dog) Considering that I started playing games when I was about 3 or 4 yrs old and I'm 19 now.

Pac-Man, in a Chinese restaurant in 1982 while my mother settled the bill. That tabletop Pac-Man cabinet was still there a decade later.

Hmmm, this probably had a large effect on my life- Panzer General. I was pretty bad, but overrunning Polish cavalry with Panzers is very, very fun. Now I can see where that WW2 fanatasism comes from.

It was either the Game Boy before the game boy color, and a slightly funny version of Pokemon Yellow.
Or
A PSone Croc, Bugs Life and Ape Escape.

I got package deals, but crap! I can't believe I gave them away, I miss them now. I'm actually quite upset now, reminiscing. I think I might have a little cry.

I believe it was Super Mario Brothers, for NES. Along with Duckhunt and that awesome zapper pistol. I might've played loadrunner and bubblegum machine on an old apple II in my grandads shop before that though, but I can't quite remember. Still, my dad played pong and pacman, and was a pinball wizard, so he has me beat.

Oh boy...

Some side scroll shooter on the ZX Spectrum whose name I have long forgotten, if I ever knew it.

First game I was actually any good at and had any idea of what was going on, possibly the original Prince of Persia.

Pandemonium 2. I was living under a rock until I saw an advert for it on telly, it seems. Then the addiction began and haven't turned back since (from gaming that is - I sold Pandemonium 2).
