Your View of a Utopian Society

Spoiler: Long rant

It is physically and technically impossible to make everyone happy so a Utopia is impossible. Let me explain. Everyone wants to be happy but what makes us happy is different. Some people love puppies some love riots. those two will not get along. Some people believe in sharing resources and burdens while other want to horde all they can get and have others do the dirty work. Theses are extremes but often the extremes that define the whole. Only a small minority of Muslims actively want to see Western civilization collapse but they put the entire population of Muslims in such a harsh light another extreme, the ultra right, demonize them to the point that a lunatic murdered dozens of innocent men, women and children in Oslo because he feared Muslims were taking over. Now every act of violence perpetrated by either extremes make us all look bad.

All,this said I still feel we can all try a little harder to be in the words of the great sage Bill S. Preston Esquire "Be excellent to each other"

Utopia, noun: a world without capitalism.
